I've been using this set (well, this product, purchased once every few months) for a couple years now. I'd say they're a step above the quality of brushes you get for free with drug store makeup...but they're not high quality brushes (and they don't pretend to be).
Even my best full-size brushes shed a little bit here & there, getting worse over time. I've had a lot worse than these, though! It's very hard to find good brushes in small packages. I'd be very interested in what another person here said about that $10 set that's just a little better quality than this one -- I keep looking for something like that!
But since I don't want to spend tons of money on brushes I'm just using for touch-ups during the day, I'll be content to stick with this set until I find something truly better...but still well under $20.

A little bit, but it's easy to tell if the hairs are about to fall out so I just pull them out before I use a brush.

I've been using these brushes for about a month and haven't had any issues with shedding so far!

Yes, mine shed while using the first, second, and third time. I haven't used them since my business trip because of this!

I haven't had any problem with shedding.

These have not shed for me.

I've sued thses several times and they don't seem to shed.

I have never found a brush that does not shed, Im not sure if its really possible for the hairs not to fall out but I don't have an issue with these brushes shedding very bad. Hope that helps

They're barely smaller than the case (3 3/4'').

The whole container it comes in is about the length of, maybe a little longer than, my index finger. They were much smaller than i expected.

this product is barely worth what you pay for it. WAY to small!

The brushes are tiny - - - the case is the size of a lipstick and all the brushes fit inside it.

On average they're about the length of half a pen

The lip brush is the 2nd thinnest brush.

The thinnest hair brush is for eyeliner, the next thinnest is for lips, the thicker hair brush is for eyeshadow. The thickest brush is a blush brush, and the sponge brush is for eyeshadow as well.

I think it is the brush closest to the clear case.

I think the second smallest brush is for the lip gloss. I think the tiniest one is for eye liner.

The Mini Clear Bursh Set containing 5 bushes and a holder. 3 3/4" Brand Name Sephora. Very Disapointed. Never been let down by any Sephora product nor tool before. Im so mad I had to write this so no one will wash their money on it and get let down as I did.

The very thin brush would be best suited for lip gloss or eyeliner. :)

I think it would be possible but, might take a little longer than usual.

Since the brush fibers aren't the best, I suggest you use this for blush application but blend it in more.

Using the face brush for foundation purposes would take forever, since the actual bristle size is roughly an inch & not too thick for the job. I would not recommend it at all.

I use the blush brush when using foundation and it works great.

I BELIEVE IT WOULD WORK FOR BLUSH APPLICATION. NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR POWDER FOUNDATION APPLICATION..BUT WOULD WORK IN A PINCH!!

I would not recommend this brush for foundation application. In fact, I would limit use of this brush to small area use, such as blush or bronzer.

the blush brush is not ok for foundation use since it's too tough. foundation brushes need to be more feathery
