I wouldnt classify my skin as sensitive overall, however it does get very sensitive with the wrong products and I am on my second jar and experienced no irritation whatsoever. You can either get a sample from the store or use Weleda Almond regime for sensitive skin. No perfumes, irritants, all natural product with a glowing safety score.

you do not say if your skin is oily, combination or dry so the only advice you can get is - use Neutrogena products for sensitive skins, that range has unfragranced products as well.

I have very sensitive skin, T-Zone, and Rosacea. I was able to use it, but ultimately decided it was a little too much for my T-zone area. It does make the skin quite soft, and youthful looking.

my skin is extremely sensitve and most moistrizers cause my skin to sting and itch, but the ultra rich face ccream has never caused my face to do either of these things. . . i would recomend it. you can also just ask them for a sample and see how your face racts to that. . .

Yes! I can't use anything artificial on my face at all or it gets really dry and itchy and this one is great for that. My skin is soft and smooth and no longer feels tight and dry. And no itchy reactions either.

I have sensitive skin too, and this has worked fine for me--no irritation at all. The scent is kind of like baby powder though, which I don't care for.

Question
Best facial moisturizer for dry skin prone to clogged pores
I have very dry skin and live in a dry climate. I only use organic products on my face - both cleansers and moisturizers. I have chronic clogged pores in my t-zone, chin and under my eyes. I use an exfoliate, but it doesn't seem to help and my skin is still dry. It is an annoying problem at 25!

Have you tried the Clarisonic Mia? I have very dry sensitive skin, so I use the delicate brush about 3x a week and my clogged pores have improved. This cream doesn't seem to clog them.

I have similar problems with my T-zone prone to break out after a recent facial I was actually told to stay away from this product, and against the technician's request I contiued to use it with Origins friction exfoliation wash and Origins Checks and Balances frothy wash and I have noticed a improvement, don't get me wrong I don't occasionally break out but with the washes I use on my face I needed something more than the typical drug store moisturizers that I felt did nothing. I like the product and I am happy with the results. PLus this moisturizer feels wonderful on.

If you think that you have been using a *natural product* you're wrong. I love this cream and it works for me but its not natural. It doesnt have parabens and a few dyes but aside from that, its a chemical cream. It doesnt even have Sephora's natural seal and it is very very easy to get that seal ( dont trust it). So long as you dont have a handful of Sephora no-no ingredients, they award you that seal. I recommend Weleda skin care to you.

use natural (organic) aloe vera gel or natural rose water or honey or milk + lemon or all together. They nourish without damage. Btw, open pores always get clogged in heat and dust, that is why use a herbal fruit mask (preferably homemade) during weekends. You can mix a pinch of olive oil, and lemon in the mask.

If you use L'Occitane Ultra Face Creme and Sephora's Clarisonic, your skin will even out and your pores will not clog. I use both everyday and have never had such great skin.

i use theL'occitane ultra rich face cream every night and i have very sensitive, very dry acne prone skin. it has never broken me out and it doesnt leave my face burning or itchy like most face creams do. my skin also tends to be a bit oily during the summer when i wear foundation and ive found that this actually makes my skin less oily. i would definately reccomend this. . .

I like this one for my dry skin. It gives enough moisture without being oily and it is really gentle. I can only use organic products or my skin freaks out and this one has made it much softer and smoother without causing break outs or other irritation.

In regards to your clogged pores & open pores, have you tried proactive? It may work for you.

This moisturizer should definately help your dry skin problem. Just be sure to use a little bit, not too much. It wont clog your pores. I too have some open pores. This product may cost a bit more than others, but the first time I bought it was in the mid-summer and I havent had to re-purchase it until now.. so it lasts a very long time. I have some rosacea on my skin (my skin loves to be pinkish/red for some reason!) and this moisturizer helps with that problem.

Question
Ingredients do not match up
Why do the ingredients on the website and the many listed on the box not match up? There are only 3 on the website here. That is very misleading. Hope someone corrects it.

For some reason, Sephora lists active ingredients only for certain products...I wonder if the company has the final say about what's put on the site. L'Occitane does not list the full ingredient list on their site either, but that's not really surprising...many companies don't, which keeps me from buying their products. Oddly enough, the sample of this face cream does have the ingredient list on the tiny package. It's quite long and not really natural: water, shea butte, dicaprtyl carbonate, glycerin, corn starch, cetearyl alcohol, dimethicone, clyceryl stearate, shea butter extract, PEG 100 stearate, sorbitol, sodium PCA, chestnut seed extract, sunflower seed oil, rosemary leaf extract, alpha-glucan oligosacchaide, xanthan gum, ceteareth 33, pnenoxyenthanol,l hydroxyethyl acrylate sodium, acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, ethylexylglycerin, benzoic acid, tetrasodium EDTA, trisodium NTA, dehydroacetic acid, tocopherol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan isotearate, polyminopropyl biguanide, frangrance, benzyl alcohol, alpha isomethyl ionone, hexyl cinnamal, benzyl benzoate, linalool, citronello, coumarin, limonen, geraniol

I learned not to trust the Sephora website when it comes to ingredients long ago. They always either put up only a few, or they put up a list of ingredients that doesnt match up at all with the ingredients on the actual package. You can go to the Sephora store and look at the items directly, or you can look elsewhere online for a full list of ingredients.

I really wish someone would address this or at least correct the problem. I buy products based on their ingredients, so I'd definitely have to return this product because they are incorrectly listed on this site.
