So far, I've used this product almost every other day and I've had this for over 2 months. Remember, you only need small amounts for your entire body. It's most effective on wet skin. My bottle is about 2/3 full so it should last me at least another 2 months or so.

When I am consistent, I buy it twice a year. I don't know what the official use up rate is. I press my palm on the bottle, tip it over and back and use the small amount on my palm on damp skin.

I used it daily on my belly, bottom and legs sparingly and one bottle lasted almost 3 months. However, it is worth the continued use if your pregnant cause it works great at preventing stretch marks.

How long does it last? It really depends on how much of it you use and how many days a week you use it. I purchase a bottle for the winter season to add in to my regime a few times a week or when feeling extra dry. To be sure it lasts, pick up a cheap medicine dropper and apply it this way to assure that you don't spill out too much into your hand and overdo it. the dropper also makes it less messy, etc.

This doesn't fade existing stretch marks. It prevents future stretch marks (pregnancy, weight gain/kiss, etc), beautifully! It also makes my skin so soft during dry winter months. Stops all the itching! I don't know any product that actually diminishes existing stretch marks. If you find one, PLEASE let me know! ;-)

Not sure - perhaps if they're caught early, post-pregnancy. More likely it is a good preventative measure. My stretch marks are years old so I realize they are not going away, but keeping them moist does seem to minimize their visibility.

Yes, I did not realize my arms were getting larger during my pregancy and started using the Clarins on them. The stretch marks faded to the point that they are barely noticable to the naked eye.

I've never showered after use. If anything, I apply after a hit shower. That way my pores are open & it soaks up the oil. I used every night during both pregnancies & it worked perfectly! Now, I use it during dry months, it makes my skin so incredibly soft! Enjoy!!

Yes yes yes! I don't know why that is in the instructions except that a cold shower will help temporarily shrink the skin and make it appear tighter. I never got a cold shower after. I used it to prevent pregnancy stretch marks and it worked!

I haven't noticed any firmness. Just prevention of stretch marks through two pregnancies. For that, it worked beautifully! Claris makes another great cellulite product, that if did notice firmness from. As well as a great LaMer product (the body Creme). The thing is, whatever product works for you, you will have to use forever! If not, it goes right back to day 1. Good luck!!

Is this product safe to use during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks? How far will one bottle go using it nearly each day?

This is the product I used during both of my pregnancies. It worked beautifully! Not one stretch mark, neither did any if my friends I told. I gained massive weight! 100 lbs with the 1st, 60 lbs with the 2nd! The earlier you start, the better chance you have of having a stretch free pregnancy!! I used it daily & would go through a bottle a month. It may seem like a lot of $$, but it's honestly a great investment! I used it all the way until the day I gave birth, (I still remember the nurses loving the smell). I used it after I gave birth, for about 6 extra weeks. Good luck & congratulations!!! ;-)

I started using this when I was almost 4 months because I didn't have even a tiny bump till then. I used it twice a day on my stomach and after every shower on my thighs and chest as well. I let it sink in for about 10 min and then put body butter or a lotion with oil in it on top. A bottle (a little goes a long way) lasted me over 2 months...but again I didn't slather myself in it...I just used it in the key areas. Get your sides when you get your belly and your hips too!

Question
Will this diminish stretch marks on butt?
I'm a thin girl who's bottom heavy, and I guess my butt grew pretty fast, so I developed some stretch marks at some point. As I get older, they just get worse, regardless of if I put raw shea butter, coconut oil, etc. on it. Do you think this product would help diminish the stretch marks on my butt for good?

This doesn't take away existing stretch marks. It's purpose is to prevent future stretch marks. It really works for that!! I don't really know of a product that REALLY gets rid of old stretch marks. If you find one, that actually works, please let me know!! ;-)

I recently had an 80lb weight loss and some deep scarring from two injuries. I have tried both this product and the Palmer's Coco Butter Oil with Rosehip. I like both equally. My only downside on the Clarins product is the strong smell of eucalyptus. Also...the Palmer's formula is much cheaper. I tend to use the Clarins product in the evenings every second day, alternating between this and the Palmer's oil. It has diminished my marks and scarring however, remember, you can only significantly remove stretch marks that are red or still pink. White or clear stretch marks, unfortunately are here to stay! Embrace 'em!

I have the same exact problem. I am thin and the only thing that seems to grow are my thighs and butt. I can tell you this product really works. Not only does it make your skin firm it also reduces cellulite and stretch marks. I am really happy with this product. It took me a while to find something worth my money.

I have not noticed that this oil reduces cellulite. What does work is the Clarins product that is specifically for controlling cellulite. It's a really great products, that is in a tall white container, usually sold in two. The consistency of it disperses in a gel like form, with what feels like an exfoliant product in it. It kind of tingles & has a cooling effect. It really does help. But, you have to use it forever. Once you stop, the progress stops & it slowly goes back to the beginning. Good Luck!!
