How do you use a self-tanning cream?
Forgive my ignorance, but I've never used a self-tanning cream and am confused about how to use this. I got it in a sample package and would like to try it, but need some help...
Is it like make-up and I apply it whenever I want to look like I have a tan, or do I apply it once a week (more? less) and it somehow changes my skin to look tan? Along the same lines-is this something that I would leave on until my next shower, or something that will come off on clothes and that I should wash off after x hours? Finally, it says I should only apply it on my face-will that give me a fake look-that is-will it look too much like a fake tan on my face if I don't have it on bare arms or legs?
Thanks for your help!

on Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Cream-Gel
This product is not a tanner as such, it gives you a glow, take the edge off that inside all day look.....it is light and applied gently on face and neck, no yellowing and looks awesome. I apply it everyday as part of my routine and I always have that little glow. You could apply it at night to get more of a tanned look, but it is not like a self tanner, it is a radiant glow.

you can use it every morning. wash your hands after applying. i usually put it on first, then do my eye make-up and at that point i can apply moisturizer and foundation. its not a heavy-duty self-tanner so i haven't had a problem with it staining clothing in all the years i've been using it.

I use this like a moisturizer. I apply it at night after I wash my face and leave it on until I wash my face in the morning. A self-tanner causes a color reaction within the skin, so it won't wipe off on clothes one it dries (about 15 minutes after you apply it.) This self-tanner is very subtle, so you don't have to worry about a tanned face with a pale body, as you might with other self-tanners.
