Yes, it has a little peice of foil over the small lid. Mine was shipped and it didn't spill. =D

I just tried to look at the ingredients and they're not on the bottle (maybe on the box which I already threw away) I'm sure if you call Clarins' 800# they'd have the info for you. If you can use it - go for it - you will so love it ! Good luck to you.
