I have severely dry, acne-prone skin and I use this twice a day, so yes, I would say it's good for acne-prone skin. It's actually the only product I use to control my acne and I went a week without using it and all of a sudden all of my previous acne came back full force. So, if you start using it, you can't stop, but it's definitely worth it.

I had oily skin and it worked pretty well for me.

The box says it's dermatologist tested and perfect for all skin types, even the most sensitive. You could always return it. It seemed really gentle to me and I have very sensitive skin. If I try something my skin doesn't like, I'll get a rash immediately.

I have most sensitive skin and suffer breakouts everytime I try new products. It seems that my skin needs some time to adjust to a new product. However, clarins' one step cleanser didn't cause any breakout and it works fine for the last two years. If your skin is prone to acne, just don't rub the cleanser too harshly onto your skin. It is already very gentle, but I sometimes found my breakout gets worse when I rub the exfoliating cleanser with normal intensity. So, just be gentle...Other than that, this is the best cleanser ever for the most sensitive skin.
