I have wacky skin, that's both really oily and flaky-dry at the same time (so frustrating!) I have never experienced any problems with drying; in fact this leaves my face very comfortable after I use it. I wouldn't recommend not using a moisturizer, but it doesn't dry out my skin like so many other cleansers do.

I would say it doesn't dry your skin as long as you use your moisturizer afterwards, which is how I've tried it so far. I have dry/combination/sensitive skin and it worked well, but I only use it 1-2 a week the most, always with a moisturizer.

I have VERY sensitive skin. I would never have tried something that said exfoliating but this came as one of the 3 free samples so I tried it. I am in LOVE it is great and no itching, burning or redness at all.

Yes! This product is for ANY skin type. Sensitive or not, and combination, oily or dry. Works especially wonders for combination skin. If you have dry skin, I recommend a non-oily moisturizing lotion as this does have mini exfoliating beads.

I find it does remove makeup fairly well, I tend to use a makeup wipe before I use this then a toner afterwards and I feel like my face is fully cleansed. I wouldn't call it a miracle all in one product but its awesome none the less, you can go to a Clarins counter and they will give you a nice sized sample of any product you'd like to try.

Due to the fact that it has tiny scrubbing particles-I would not remove eye make-up with it. I use it around my eyes very gently but not to remove eyemakeup. There many good eye makeup removers available.

I have light/medium skin, am 29, and still get breakouts on my chin. I use this exfoliator every night so my creams sink in better. It does not irritate my skin at all.

Try it out on yourself every other night, or every third night, and see how it goes for you.

You may be able to use it every day, or every other day.

can i use this cleanser with my clarisonic

answer 1
Since the Clarisonic is for use with non-abrasive cleansers, I would not recommend using Clarins exfoliating cleanser with it. The Clarins cleanser contains little exfoliating microbeads, which may be too much physical agitation to your skin in addition to the scrubbing head of the Clarisonic.

I obtained the following info from Clarisonic website. This product is not abrasive, so I would feel confident in using it.

http://www.clarisonic.com/us/clarisonic/frequent-questions.php

"What type of cleanser should I use? Clarisonic cleansers are optimized for use with sonic technology, but you can use any non–abrasive cleanser. Visit the cleanser product page for details on Clarisonic cleansers."

answer 3
no no no! you're NOT supposed to use a clarisonic brush with cleansers that have scrubbies in it. especially when you have acne prone skin it's gonna irritate your skin like crazy and break you out even more. use clarisonic with cream, gel or foamy face wash. anything but exfoliators. hope this helps (:

I wouldn't use this 2x daily. Use it at night, with a moisturizier. Skin absorbes and heals at night.

answer 3
If it's not too dry for the rest of your face, and you don't rub your face to hard, I say it's fine. I stopped using it daily when it became too much for my cheeks area to handle during winter time. I miss how smooth my skin was when I used this daily. Just remember this is not medicated so if you have acne, it's not going to heal it or anything.

This is not a peeler or a mask but a gentle, creamy exfoliator. It seems to work really well a couple of times a week as an exfoliator.

This is not the same exfoliator they refer to in the Radiance cream pamphlet. However, it is very good and will essentially achieve the same result. It will clean and exfoliate your skin to prepare it for tanning lotion. It is actually my favorite Clarins exfoliator.

Question
Ingredients
Can someone please list the ingredients. I have milia and am looking for a good at home exfoliant to use in between my facials. Someone asked if it's oil-free, and the person just stated it's ok for acne-prone skin. I need to know if it actually is oil-free. If it does contain oils, does anyone know of a good oil-free exfoliant?

The box says it's dermatologist tested and perfect for all skin types, even the most sensitive. You could always return it. It seemed really gentle to me and I have very sensitive skin. If I try something my skin doesn't like, I'll get a rash immediately.

I have most sensitive skin and suffer breakouts everytime I try new products. It seems that my skin needs some time to adjust to a new product. However, clarins' one step cleanser didn't cause any breakout and it works fine for the last two years. If your skin is prone to acne, just don't rub the cleanser too harshly onto your skin. It is already very gentle, but I sometimes found my breakout gets worse when I rub the exfoliating cleanser with normal intensity. So, just be gentle...Other than that, this is the best cleanser ever for the most sensitive skin.

Looking on the ingredients list one is sodium laureth sulfate. IDK what that is or if it harmful. I can tell you to says it's dermatologist tested and 'perfect for all skin types, even the most sensitive' but I don't know how much that helps you. The sales people at Sephora are knowledgeable, if you go the the store, they can probably help you.
