answer 1
I clean my concealer brush EVERY day with Sephora's daily brush cleaner. I would highly recommend cleaning the brush EVERY day if you're using it to conceal acne. If not, you end up just spreading it from the bacteria that grows and causes more pimples. Not to mention, the brush works 100 times better clean, then it does with built up, cakey make up on it.
Every two weeks or so (although I do it more often with this brush), I use Sephora's brush shampoo. You can use baby shampoo, but I found that Sephora's brush shampoo is more effective and leaves my brush super soft feeling.
Don't use your regular hair shampoo or hand soap, that will shorten the life of your brush.

I use a brush cleaner once a week to shampoo it and then let it air dry. Everyday I use the Sephora Daily Brush Cleaner Antibacterial Formula to remove bacteria and light traces of makeup.

Get a clean sponge (like the one you use to wash dishes) and Get a Gentle Cleanser Hand Soap or Gentle Baby Soap (softsoap co. has a milk & honey hand soap that works good for me). Pump once on luke warm wet sponge & work it in till it foams. Gently Rub the bristles back & forth over the sponge until you get all the product off. Rinse off soap with warm water (gently rub bristles in the palm of your hand while rinsing to ensure all soap comes off) Squeeze off excess & lay it flat to dry on a folded towel (leave bristles off the edge of towel to keep shape of brush).
TIPS: Make sure to hold your brush faced down while youre cleansing & rinsing brushes, don't want to wet the handle or let water sit in, it may ruin ur brushes eventually. Brush cleaners don't seem to work well for getting all liquids or cream products off your brushes (it still leaves a nasty film on it).Depending, if you have oily skin etc you may want to wipe your brush after every use w/ baby wipes & cleanse at least once a week. Hope this helps. Im not a makeup artist, this is just my personal advice that works for me.

You can wash with a little soap and warm water, or buy a brush cleanser. I recommend the sephora brand cleanser, I own it myself and it works great!

I dab a cotton pad with some rubbing alcohol and wipe the brush with that on a daily basis. Once weekly I use warm water and a gentle liquid soap for a deeper cleaning.

Get one of the spray-on brush cleaners - lots of companies make them - and clean it whenever you feel it's too dirty. I find it's best not to over-clean brushes but it's also a balance of not letting them get too dirty.

Rubbing alcohol! No need to buy expensive brush cleaners. You could also use makeup remover or shampoo if you want. The rubbing alcohol disinfects though which is probably a good idea, especially if you use this brush with a liquid concealer.

YouTube Michelle Phan - I use her method to clean all my makeup brushes. I put a little antibacterial dish washing liquid on a plate with some extra virgin olive oil and swirl the brush around in this, then in the palm of my hand. Rinse thoroughly in warm water. Then I hang them upside down to dry overnight. This keeps mine all beautifully clean and soft.
