It is just a marketing phrase; sometimes products are made different because women and men skin are not generally the same and, of course, fragance tends to be more feminine or masculine. I think a woman can use this product without a problem as this product is not too harsh on the face and also the smell is well balanced.

Descriptions of this product and others in the Anthony's Logistics line say its supposed to help with shaving and after-shave skin care. So, its geared towards men, but I'm a girl and I love it!

Men have thicker skin and are more oily than women. Also with this facial cleanser, it has to go through some facial hair that men have. Otherwise women can use it. A lot of "mens" skin care products are just labeled for men so companies can make more money.

It's not specially for men, it's just a product in a skin care line geared toward men so it's more male friendly. Most guys won't touch their lady's cleanser or something with a female advertising it as it gives the idea they're using a "girl's" product. Women can use this too, I do!

I feel a 'cleansing' sensation that is not uncomfortable. I know it is working and when I rinse, I know my skin is ready for serums and moisturizer.

Sometimes you will get a slight burning sensation when you start using the product & your skin is oily or has acne actively breaking out on your face. Once you have calmed down your face by using the product a few times that feeling goes away & your skin clears up fast.

I am a man and use it with my clairasonic and it works great. I used to use the clairasonic brand cleanser and when I went for my last facial the guy that did the facial recomended a cleanser with glycolic acid. The consultant at Sephoria said he recomend it with the the clairasonic and it works good for me. At first I didn't like that it didn't foam but have found that it works better with the clairasonic being no foaming.
I know some people put the product on the brush but I find with this it works better to put the product on my face and use the clairasonic with it.

I am a woman in mid-20's. I use it with my Clarisonic with great success. It's winter and my skin hasn't dried out yet (though, I also use a moisturizer.)

Yes, it has a fragance, it is like a citric-menthol fragance, I prefer the smell of Jack Black products but this Anthony Logistics Face Cleanser works better on my super dry-oily T zone face skin and the smell is not annoying.

Yes. I usually purchase scent-free products, and actually thought this one would be, but it's has a nice, gentle scent. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, maybe slightly citrus smelling, like orange, but not sweet. I don't like the smell of orange in products, so it's funny that I like it now that I've identified what I think that is, but it does smell great, and you only smell it when you're washing your face, after that, it lingers in the air, and then it's gone.

It is gently enough to be used daily even on mixed skins like mine (Extreamly oily T zone and very dry rest of the face) It works wonders on the oily T zone on my face by cleaning it without being too aggresive that way my skin does not reacts by producing even more oil.

When I tried using it daily, it made my skin very dry. I think it depends on your skin type. I suggest getting a sample from sephora to try it.

You most certainly can. They're usually really good about accepting exchanges, even if you've used a little bit of it. You might not want to chance it if you've used a whole lot, though.

It does have grapefruit peel oil and orange peel oil. But it's not a big amount so you should be set.
