How effective is this shampoo against dandruff?
How strong is the frangrance? I am looking for a dandruff shampoo without a fragrance.

It does have a light fragrance, not too harsh, but it isn't unscented.

I've bought it for my current boyfriend and recommended it for a couple of my guy friends. One of my guy friends had a dandruff problem all his life and he no longer has that issue. My boyfriend and I live in a very dry climate so he was beginning to have issues with dandruff and now he doesn't anymore! Loves it.

This shampoo isn't for dandruff, nor does it claim to be. For some reason, Sephora puts both "oily" and "dandruff" into one category "oily/dandruff", which I'm guessing is what led to your confusion!

Also note that peppermint is an irritant, so it is likely to make your dandruff worse.

This item contains Lavender, which is naturally anti-bacterial, as well as peppermint, which is stimulating and helps to remove buildup. Results may vary from person to person, and if dandruff is a major concern for you you may want to speak with a dermatologist.
The scent of this item is minty and somewhat medicinal, but it does not have added fragrance in the sense of a perfumy scent.

Only for men?
Have any women used this product? I see it is a men's shampoo but I can't seem to find any shampoo that is reallly effective for oily hair for women. Is the smell too masculine? Or less than desirable?

I tend to find that within a few hours of washing my hair, it tends to flatten and get oily again - and showering less often is not an option - my hair gets way too oily to shower less than once a day.

It is definately not to masculine for a woman to use. It has a nice clean sent, a bit minty, but not overwhelming at all.

The smell is mild and unassuming. This is the first shampoo that i have used that my hair actually was squeeky clean, I assume that is absolutely clean. My hair starts looking as it is getting oily by about 8pm, i shower in the mornings.

Definately works for a bit of an oily hair and keeps dandruff in check, but if you have a major dandruff problem, i wouldn't use this to start, but to maintain and manage the dandruff.
