Probably depends on a number of factors -
1. Condition of skin (level of damage to be corrected)
2.Use of product (a.m. or p.m. or BOTH / daily use vs.2-3 times a week)
3. Other products used with this
4. Use of sunscreen to prevent further damage

I found this product helpfull with drooping eyelids I think because of its firming properties

The color is one thing I don't like about the product. It's a gross looking yellowish-brown that's hard to blend into my skin. I'd like to use it in the morning, but don't because I'm afraid my makeup will look weird over it and that some might get in my eyelashes. If color is an issue for you as it is for me, you should try the Dr. Dennis Gross Hydra-pure Firming Eye Cream instead--it's clear.

I find this eye cream moisturizes my under eye area very well so would not see a reason for add'l moisture. If you are finding it does not provide sufficient hydration to your under eye area, maybe a heavier one would be better...? If you do decided to go with a heavier eye cream, do beware of milia tiny white "cycts" formed when dead skin cells & other debris are unable to shed naturally because they are smothered by heavy skin care products - google "milia" for more info! After years of heavy eye creams, cream eyeshadows and creamy concealers, I'm slowly getting rid of mine.
