I had to purhcase the gel and the gloves seperately. However, I do believe that you can use any type of cream with the gloves and they are good for about 50 uses - so if you wanted to save a little money or really like a different hand cream you could probably do that. The gel glove is really nice and fresh smelling and is very thick - it feels like it's getting right into your hands!

Yes, you can use any gloves with this. In fact, I often use it without gloves (I hate the binding!), and it works just fine. It absorbs quickly, so you don't have to worry about accidentally rubbing it off into everything you touch.
