That has happened to me before, but soon after, I realized that I accidently bought the Pure Grace Body Firming Emulsion instead of Amazing Grace. Pure Grace does have a lotion smell to it, I compare it to soap and water. Check to make sure you have the right sent, the bottles look exactly alike!

Yes. It is a very strong scent that lingers all day and in my opinion clashes terribly with any other scent. If you like the smell of Amazing Grace, use this alone. No need to layer as this is quite powerful.

I don't think this is for major skin issues. It is more of a fragrance and moisterizer

It has always been my understanding that all the Philosophy scents are designed to work together so you could probably try some of the others and see if you like them better. For what it's worth, I've found that the scent of the Amazing Grace Body Emulsion may seem a little "heavy" when you first put it on, but after an hour or so it tones down quite a bit. This product is amazing. It has a light clean musk smell and it really works. You can use it on all body parts.
