This is a body lotion and is not recommended for use on the face. I never applied this to my face but body lotions tend to be richer and thicker and can therefore clog the pores on your face.

This product will not cause any breakout or acne if it touches your face. Both my mother and I have combination skin and have used it for many years. You will fall in love with it, I promise.

I have very oily skin and am prone to breakouts if I don't keep up my routine. At night time, when I don't mind my face being a little more oily, I put the lotion on top of my night creme. It's really lightweight and hasn't caused any acne or irritation at all, so I wouldn't worry about touching your face when wearing it.

I wouldn't suggest putting this on your face especially if you have oily, sensative skin like me. I use this for my body only and love it.

I have very sensitive skin, both on my face and body. I normally can't use any type of fragranced detergents or cleansers, but I have never had a problem with this breaking me out. I've never completely slathered it all over my face like a facial mosturizer, but have occasionally used it on my cheek bones to give myself a dewy glow.

Do any of these sizes come with a pump?
It sure makes it easier to use a pump instead of squeezing the bottle.

Unfortunately the pump is my ONLY issue with these AMAZING products. It doesn't get even close to the bottom of the bottle and I end up having to actually cut the bottle to get to the rest!! I prefer squeezing to the bitter end!

Question
Scent changes over time
I love the Pure Grace & Amazing Grace scents, I have bought both for the past few years and that's all I wear, I am very sensitive to scents. My question is has anyone noticed that the scent changes over a few months, both lotions smell great at first but after a few months they change to a weird smell (not bad) just different. I kept thinking I got a bad batch, but it keeps happening, not sure what I should do.

I think they must have changed the formula, I have been a die hard GRACE girl for years and the last 3 batches I got either had a low scent that didn't last long or like you smells "off" (as well as low scent). I miss my Grace's. Now I will have to find something else.

I have noticed that the lotion scent changes on my skin as compared with the scent in the bottle. Also, I noticed that the spray scents have a slightly different scent than the lotion, but the scented oil is closer in scent to the lotion...generally i have stuck with the amazing grace lotion for consistent nice smell

Question
Difference between the Emulsions?
I received a deluxe sample of the Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion and absolutely fell in love with the way it made my skin feel! But it turned out my Fiance is very allergic to the scent, to the point I had to wash it off.

So I wanted to ask the "Unconditional Love Firming Body Emulsion" and "Inner Grace Perfumed Firming Body Emulsion" are the same lotion as the Amazing Grace Emulsion, but with different scents?

and also, do either of them have a similar scent to Baby Grace?

You might want to try Pure Grace instead. Amazing Grace is the lightest of the other fragrance products. Unconditional Love and Inner Grace are great also, but stronger. Pure Grace has the same emollient effect but more of a clean fragrance.

I don't care for either of these scents. I actually bought the Unconditional love online, but returned it to my local Sephora store. It was way too sweet smelling, sort of like cotton candy. As for the inner grace, I smelled that while I was at Sephora, and I didn't care for it. I can't remember why. I do love both the Amazing Grace and Pure Grace. There is a new one coming out soon, called Eternal Grace. The Pure
Grace is a body lotion, not a firming emulsion, but it smells great. Hope this helps.

Question
Moisturizing?
I live in a really hot, sunny climate (southern TX) and am lookig for something that moisurizes really well. I love the scent of AmazingGrace but wasn't sure if this was moisturizing enought. I usually apply lotion after sun exposure and showers. The Sephora Brand body butter was great, but I thought this might have a better smell.

Is this moisturizing for the price? I don't really care too much about the firming property - I just want the pretty scent in a moisturizer for the body.

I bought this lotion because I thought it had a great smell and now my mother took over it. It just works wonderful because we have very dry skin.
I have spent a lot of money for body lotions an mosturizers but with this one it gives my skin enough mosturize and I just love the scent and how my skin looks and feels now! what an improvement! It's not too greasy or slim, not heavy in fragrance, it's just right.
I would def recomend this lotion. Oh and I also use it before I go to bed to mosturize it while sleep! I have also got compliments on how great it smells and my boyfriend likes how my skin feels now. This one
is A MUST TRY!

It's a body "lotion" that works great as it is but it works much better if you put it on your body "while it's wet" then air dry....it really does make you skin very soft and smells great...but don't use it as a :"body wash"...ever!

Question
Is it just me, or does this not smell as strong....if at all...like the shower gel?
I was REALLY disappointed when I got the lotion-could barely smell it and it almost smelled different. I like a clean, fresh, scent-don't wear body mists or perfume. I'm a nurse and strong smells make people sick. Is Living Grace better? I like Pure Grace. I don't like to smell like a flower or specific fruit-just clean.
Ant suggestions?

No, it's not just you. I am very disappointed that the formulation has changed since my last purchase, and none of the Amazing Grace products smell the same. The fragrance is so light now it disappears as soon as I put it on, and I layer (shower gel, emulsion lotion, spray perfume). Will probably go to a Sephora store to test different Philosophy fragrances...

I also have sensitive skin and I love this product. I would recommend it, but I wouldn't recommend putting it on AFTER shaving. It may irritate you. If you are looking for something that is good for after shaving, Bliss Body Butter in Vanilla & Bergamot is the greatest all around moisturizer I have ever used (I've been using it for over 8 years). The scent, consistency and the way it moisturizes is fantastic. It's just more expensive so I use Amazing Grace the days I don't shave.
