Questions & Answers for Dermadoctor KP Duty

Question
Is it worth the money?
I've had KP since I was about 7. I'm 14 now, and during the past couple of years, kids at school have been making fun of me for having weird bumps on my face and arms. I want to know if this product is worth the money. Nothing that my derm has prescribed has helped me. I've tried everything from Kerafoam to Retin A. I'm desperate! Please help!

kids be be so cruel! don't let them get to you, girl... but if you use a glycolic wash to exfoliate the bumps and this cream, it should help. the dream on it's own might help, but a glycolic wash will help to exfoliate them as well.

I have not tried this product on my face, but it helps my arms and legs alot. I also have tried various products with minimal improvement but I think you may be happy with this.

KP Duty won't make the bumps go away for ever, it only works while you use the lotion. I am very self concious of the bumps on my upper arms inthe summer when I want to wear tank tops and short sleeves. I think if you use the product you will be happy with the results. I would ask the derm what he thinks about you using it on your face. It is on the expensive side but a little bit while go along way. I hope this helps.

The lotion works wonders just by itself, but I also have the scrub and it is super too. used together, I felt like I went to a spa. my skin was baby soft and felt renewed. I'm half korean and have the 'bumps' on my upper arms and upper legs. Never thought there was anything to do about it, tried these products and fell in love. definitely worth the money!!! Hope this helps (-:

I would say no. It has AHAs in it and even though it's a low amount, a baby's skin or any child or any age may be too sensitive.

I would definitely recommend it NOT used for a baby. I bought this for my son who's had Keratosis Pilaris ("chicken bump skin"). He's had the condition since birth, but I didn't find this product 'til a few years later. Anyway with it's high level of glycolic acid is pretty strong and he mentions once in awhile that it stings a little when I'm putting it on him - he's 8 now. I just think it would sting your baby too much if it's put on his/her skin -- just my opinion.

I would recommend this to anyone with keratosis problems. It helps mine as long as I am using it. I can't go without it. I love my legs when I use it not only does it correct the problem but it takes the scarring away because of the glycolic acid helps turn over the skin faster. Making my skin look younger and softer! LOVE IT!
