I have kp on my cheeks, and I have used this lotion for it.
it doesn't make your skin look oily...but it is a thick lotion..so using a pea sized amount is perfect for the face

I have used this on my stepson's face and it was worked well just using a thin layer. I rub it between my fingers first though so its not too thick. It hasn't caused any kind of reaction.

I do not recommend this for use on the face. For treating KP on the face I would suggest a good skin-care routine. I used to have KP on my face but now I do not after I started being very vigilant about my skin. One of the things that I do use is a night cream with salicylic acid. It will do wonders!

I would try a little bit in his face first. Then if he has no irritation I would continue with small amounts. I have used very small amounts on my face and had no irritation. It is a great product and it doesn't hurt to try. :-)

I believe that you can use it on any part of the body, it does not produce good results. Try Amlactin from your local drug store, it might work better and it's much better on your wallet too.

I would not use this on my bikini area if I have shaved recently - if used on my legs after shaving there is a slight sting. If you have razor bumps on your bikini area I would recommend TendSkin instead of this.

I would not recommend. It's specifically for KP, not razor bumps. Bliss makes an awesome pad, ingrown eliminating pads, that are AMAZING.

Yes! That's what this lotion was made for. Those red bumps are called keratosis pilaris, and are most commonly found on the backs of the arms. It's a genetic skin condition where too much skin grows around each hair follicle. KP Duty lotion calms the redness and helps smooth the bumps. It's worked wonders for me.

It sounds like you have KP (keratosis pilaris) like I do. I used to try to scrub it away, but the more you scrub the more irritated it gets. The trick is to lightly exfoliate and then use a lotion like KP duty. Regular lotions don't seem to take care of it like KP Duty does.

it REALLY works! I had the same rough, red bumps on the back of my arms & thighs. I've been using it for a month now, only a few times a week & already seen significant improvements in the appearance & smoothness of my skin... 100% recommended & worth the $!!!

Question
KP duty versus FAB ultra repair cream
Has anyone tried both the KP duty and the First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream and can compare the two? I currently use the FAB ultra repair cream after I get out of the shower in the morning and a prescription Urea lotion at night to help get rid of my KP on the back of my arms and it is working OK but has not healed completely. I'm wondering if it is worth it to try and just use the KP duty both day and night instead.

I would for sure recommend KP duty over the over one. KP also has anti-bacterial properties so it is also great for acne on back or arms.

Sorry, I've never tried the other product though I've tried Eucerin cream which was heavy, thick and didn't work for me. I purchased KP Duty because I was getting worried that the 'chicken skin' bumps was spreading. I apply it after taking a shower so that my skin is clean and that's it. I feel relieved now that it had worked for me.

I have used both and I find the KP duty to work better than FAB, but neither work as well as to get rid of my bumps. I could really tell the KP reduced the appearance of my bumps and the redness.

You should try it. I just bought it yesterday. I tried the sample at the store and instantly felt a warm tingling feeling. Half hour later I saw the redness in my upper arms improved. It doesn't hurt to try. You can always return it if you're not happy with the results.

I started using KP Duty day and night. It makes the back of my arms so much softer. I have a less redness than before. You may want to give it shot...I only use a quater size amount on each arm. Honsetly, I am starting to wonder if these things just "help" our KP and nothing will ever rid it. I figure anything is worth a shot now. I also tried baby oil after exfoliating...that helped too.

Question
Is it worth the money?
I've had KP since I was about 7. I'm 14 now, and during the past couple of years, kids at school have been making fun of me for having weird bumps on my face and arms. I want to know if this product is worth the money. Nothing that my derm has prescribed has helped me. I've tried everything from Kerafoam to Retin A. I'm desperate! Please help!

no, it is not worth it. it works a little bit but for that price, i think it should be better. try urea lotion (you can get 20% over the counter at the pharmacy, or a higher percent with a prescription. It costs like $20 for a 3 month supply (24 ounces). It's not quite as good as this but if you don't have it super bad than maybe it'll do the trick.

kids be be so cruel! don't let them get to you, girl... but if you use a glycolic wash to exfoliate the bumps and this cream, it should help. the dream on it's own might help, but a glycolic wash will help to exfoliate them as well.

KP Duty won't make the bumps go away for ever, it only works while you use the lotion. I am very self concious of the bumps on my upper arms inthe summer when I want to wear tank tops and short sleeves. I think if you use the product you will be happy with the results. I would ask the derm what he thinks about you using it on your face. It is on the expensive side but a little bit while go along way. I hope this helps.
