i would say it would be fine for either gender. it truly is a gender neutral scent to me. i don't pick up on any hint of fruit or flowers that would make it more exclusive to girls traditionally. it just kind of smells like clean laundry. it's nice on the skin, and not at all irritating. nothing complex at all, just airy, and clean, and fresh. it's kind of hard to describe, but i do like it.

Once your baby gets to be a toddler it is a girl smell but when he or she is an infant then it works for both! I think it is a very sweet smell but mostly it's just clean.

boy or girl - non-gender as it is a very clean sent.

i'm not sure if its a boy or girl thing, just a baby thing, (like the scent of baby magic isn't a boy or girl scent) i use it on my 3 monthold son and 5 year old daughter. i will tell you that his father thinks it smells sissy, but he is an idiot about most beauty things!

I have never seen a sample for this product. But the reviews are excellent and I love it! I have a 34 month old boy and have been using it since he was born. I am just now getting to the bottom of the bottle so it is a great value.

have never seen samples in the USA - recommend dad step up and give the mamma a break and a little shopping trip and smell what is in the store. It is perfect and non-gender as it is a clean smell, not girlie
