Hi there, I forgot to add a picture of the Ultimate Brown/soft brown with my last answer. It is a very rich color despite being what they are terming "light". I am blonde with dark brows and lashes. I am fair skinned. This is my favorite pencil.

I use medium ash- brown my eyebrows are medium brown - this color looks very natural. If the pencil color is too light it wont look natural.

I would suggest dark brown for you also- I have dark hair and somewhat olive complexion, this works great for me.

Try Anastacia Perfect Brow Pencil, it really is good.

I have the same complexion and eyes as you. I went back and forth between a couple colors and settled on the Ultimate Brown. It's a perfect match!

I recommend it. I recently purchased this pencil to replace another product I couldn't get anymore. The consultant let me see it on me first. We also tried a liquid brow. I really like this brow pencil best. The coloring is good. Not too bold so your brows come off your face. But bold enough and soft.

Try the Lorac pencil in brunette, much better quality!

The medium ash/medium brown will work perfectly! I use it and have around the same hair color. You could go into sephora too and try a lighter color if it is perhaps too dark, but it should be good.

I would go with this pencil, in the blonde color. You can always go into the store and test the color out!

I find this pencil doesn't have enough red for me but sounds like it might be just what you are looking for. It's not brassy either.

I like my brows to be darker, but not orange-y. I use the ASH BLONDE and love it :)

I have light brown, almost dirty blonde hair with light brows, I use the blonde pencil.

Honestly girl, there are so many different shades of blonde, ranging from super light to dirty, the best way to find your color is to ask for help from a knowledgeable sales person at sephora.

I would try the lightest shade.

You should try the color in ultimate brown but if it looks a little too dark go with Ash Blonde.

Have you tried this pencil in brunett? I find that it's dark enough to cover 'patchy' areas without looking harsh.

Try the perfect brow pencil in the charcoal grey shade to fill in.

Try the Anastasia brow enhancer brow wiz in Medium ash. It is fantastic!!! I have almost no brow hair and this product fills it in and looks natural. It also stays all day (so long as you're not rubbing it or anything).

Try the Anastasia brow pencil in Medium Ash. It is great! HArd lead for crisp lines, not crumbly, and the perfect color to really blend and look natural.My brows are dark and sparse with bare spots like yours and this really works!

I have salt and pepper hair and have tried a few different brow pencils. I'm very pleased with Anastasia, Ultimate Brown.

I would try straw burn. The reddish tint is not too strong, and it gives a more warm tone, rather than ashy, which I think would be good for you since you described your hair as a golden blonde. I have blonde hair naturally, but my brows have always been much darker than my hair. I sometimes bleach my brows with a little cream bleach, which gives them a slightly strawberry blonde look. I purchased straw burn, and it really seems to blend everything together. This is the first time my close friends and my husband couldn't tell I lightened my brows, even when I pointed it out. Everyone thinks it looks great, and brightens my face.

I would try the Ultimate Brown - should be a golden brown without reds in it ....

Medium brown, i have light brown brows and just dyed my hair darker. the med brown seems to be the perfect balance that my brows still look natural but meet the stronger shade of my hair. It's the opposite of your situation, but it seems like it might work for you too.

You should use an ashy brown, not blonde.

You want to choose the brow pencil color that is closest to the current color of your hair. I have light brown / dark blonde hair, so I always use a blonde pencil. It grooms the brows without looking overly dark or fake. When I color my hair darker, I bump up the color a shade or two.

Even though I have auburn hair, i am fair skinned (i am one of the 6% of the world's pop with no yellow in my skin) and have blue-green eyes. the strawburn works great for me -- i usually have trouble w/the browns they are too dark and the blondes are just to light -- if you have the time, stop in to a Sephora and try the different colors.

Blonde is the perfect color for us. I have red hair, pink-toned skin with freckles also. This pencil is the best, and worth the extra money,

If you have light brown or medium-dark blonde hair (natural or not) I recommend the "Soft Brown" shade. Very natural looking while still allowing you to shape and fill to your desired needs. If you want to go slightly darker try the Ash shade.

I would recommend trying it in Ash Blonde - it's better to go lighter than darker on eyebrow pencils. Plus, this product layers well so you can achieve a darker effect if needed.

Try the "golden blonde", which is a medium brown. The "ash blonde" is a taupe/brown. Both look good on my friend, who has light/medium brown hair, hazel eyes.

Light brown is named "Ultimate Brown" for the Anastasia brow pencil. Found it in the store. :)

Medium Ash might be your best bet. It would probably be the middle of all the shades, unless you have reddish hair, then you would want to go for the Strawburn pencil.

I understand completely. The eyebrows fade back to your natural color much faster than the hair does. I use a pencil with red undertones almost all the time. When I try to use on to match my natural color after the brows have faded, it just accentuates the difference in color between my brows and my hair. Finding a good red based blonde or brown eyebrow pencil a little lighter than your hair color should help when your color is fresh, and keep the red tone in the eyebrows aftet they have faded. Hope this helps, I haaven't found the perfect colors yet either.

If your eyebrows are on the dark side, use a pencil to match your natural color, but if they are lighter, match your new hair shade. You really should use color that is for eyebrows.

I dyed my hair Light Reddish Blonde, and got Anastasia Strawburn color eyebrow pencil. (I didn't dye my eyebrows-- they're light brown). I think it looks very nice, and brings out my blue eyes.

I think you are going to want to do a darker brow...Check out some brownich redheads in some magazines...
google "women with reddish brown hair" and check out the images results....

I think the soft brown color would be a good match since it appears to be the warmest of the browns. I have golden/dark blond roots and lighter blond ends and use the soft brown.

I don't think this pencil will last more than a month. It's too soft. You have to sharpen it daily because it gets dull within 1-2 strokes, which makes it difficult to create a precise brow shape.

I would actually go for the brunette in the pencil, it is lighter then the brunette brow wiz.

Use Anastasia's "medium brown" - formerly medium ash.
I find that there's not a red undertone to this color.

I definitely agree with you about the short usage of the Brow Wiz. I made the switch over to the Brow Pencil and I love it but I do miss how easier it was with the Brow Wiz because the Brow pencil is a lot thicker in diameter. I am not sure what shade you should go for but I highly recommend going into a store and trying it out. :)

Blonde! Unbelievably, blonde seems to work for just about everyone. I'm also a dark brunette and struggled with the same problem. The blonde looks natural.
