This product isn't going to soften your eyebrow hairs, but to keep them clean and neat, without the clump and thick products others have.

Honestly, I don't think it will affect the softness of your eyebrows. It just keeps them in place- and it washes off easily, so it's not like they stay hard afterwards. hope this helps!

No, it won't soften your eyebrows, it actually makes them a bit crispy. But! It keeps the brows in line even if you aren't wearing brow powder. Good stuff.

When you have the gel on the brows are actually rather hard and I did not read anything on the package suggesting that this will " condtion" your brows. I would rather use something else for instance at night time.

The gel will keep the brow hair in their place without flakiness and when you take it off along with your makeup at night, your brows will return to their original texture (soft and disorganized). Hope this helps

I don't know if it softens your eyebrow but it does keep the hair from going anywhere for at least an 8 hour day. I think the less amount you apply the softer your brow will be.

This is a clear gel and doesn't 'fill' in color, it just has a wonderful staying power that keeps every brow in place all day long. I use Bobbi Brown Taupe and brow brush for color and then use this to keep my brows in place.

Yes, Anastasia Brow Gel works perfectly with eyebrow powders. I use Bare Minerals, and it keeps it in place...is light, longlasting and natural looking. (Since my brows are starting to thin, I apply the gel prior to applying the powder, and it never looks heavy.)

On rare occasions I will use a pencil, and the Anastasia Brow Gel works with that, too, as well as using it just as a grooming product -- on days when I wear little or no make-up, or at night to "train" the brows that seem to have a mind of their own!

Yes, absolutely. I have fully tested this gel over top of every eyebrow filler I own.... including pencils, MUFE's aqua brow, brow powders, eyeshadows, etc. I recommend using a light hand though, and wipe off as much excess gel on the tube as possible before applying. A little really does go a long way.

I use this with the Anastasia brow powder to cover grey in my eyebrows, which are black! Salon efforts to match brows to hair color were unsatisfactory and did not last. I apply the gel first, then use a blonde/taupe combo over it. Apply powder gently so it doesn't hit the skin. It lasts all day and looks great and natural. Attempts at plucking out the grey hair left some spots that never filled in so there I apply the lighter of the two shades in the compact.Hope this helps.

I am not aware of new colors, but the old palest color was a great filler for pale or very lite brows. It created the look of a brow where there was no hair at all..and filled in the inner area with a color that blended the bare zone with the remaining brow. VERY easy to use, and held down strays. all in one, quick and easy..

I like the clear one -- there's no bleeding or worry of getting it on skin or where you don't want it to be. However, my hair is blond and my brows are light brown, I'm not sure I'd want a color to make them any darker. But still, regardless of brow color, you can't go wrong with the clear!

You have to remember, the rule to brows is that if you have darker brows than you should choose a lighter colored powder. If you have lighter brows, choose a darker colored powder. Now, I have black brows and they are very thick. When I use brow powder, I tried Anastasia's brunette one and that was almost to dark for me. (I am now using the darker color of ash blonde.) So for this brow gel I recommend Brunette. Why not blond? These formulas are more liquidy, and might come on more sheer. But truly, I find that the clear formula is the best, so go to sephora to test them out. My final decision for you is Brunette, but please try out the clear one.
