Bliss Super Slough Scrub

What it is:A dual-action cleanser and exfoliating scrub with heavy hydrators to soften, clean, and condition in one step. What it is formulated to do: This scrub is meant to be slathered— gobs of scrubbing beads in the hyper-hydrating gel rid the top layer of dead skin cells and turn you back into your naturally radiant self. This foaming cleanser gently exfoliates skin without forgetting to hydrate and lingers with a fresh laundry scent. What else you need to know: Bliss Super Slough Scrub doubles as the perfect pre-pedicure exfoliator: the soapy component works like a liquid laundromat, while the skin smoothing pumice particles tenderize even the driest feet.

I have had excema scarring for years and dark spots on my knees and elbows but I have also never used a body scrub. So with that being said, will this product help lighten my scars and the dark spots?

I would recommend something stronger, like the Kate Somerville exfoliating products, or the Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion product for this particular skin issue. I've used all three products, and found the Bliss Scrub to be rather weak.

This helps nothing but empty your wallet. If you want to get rid of those ( arent they annoying I have 'em too) i suggest getting a stretch mark reducing cocoa butter oil or the best thing to do is get a referal from a dematologist.
Hope this helps

Although exfoliation is great for overall skin health and renewal this product will have very little, if any difference on the appearance of dark spots on your skin. A product containg hydroxy acid or alpha-hydroxy acid may benefit you more for this skin concern. It should be noted that over-exfoliation can present harm to your skin so you never want to go overboard with it.

Yes! I am using it for the keratosis pilaris on my arms. It also works great for smoothing out stretch marks from pregnancy and other stuch icky things! (not pregnancy, the stretch marks!)

If you would like a scrub that is a moisturize, you might want to try to find scrubs with shea butter.

Question
Is this scrub similar to the "hot salt scrub"?
Just curious if this scrub is similar to Bliss's Hot Salt Scrub. I have tried the hot salt scrub before and absolutely hated it, so I'd like to avoid that type. Has anyone used both products before? And if so, can you give me more information about how this one works? Sephora's description is extremely limited, and it seems like the "jojoba scrub beads" are similar to those silly little blue beads in body soaps that do nothing.
Thanks!

This is not at all like the hot scrub. This works a lot better and the smell is great. I would reccomend this over the salt scrub!

Question

Which is a better exfoliator? This or the Fat Girl Scrub?

I've tried both, and although fat girl scrub BY FAR beats this one for me, I'd suggest:
* Any of the LAURA MERCIER scrubs. (The Crème de Pistache Scrub is my favorite) which are $50.00
* JULEP Glycolic Hand Scrub which is $23.00
* OLE HENRIKSEN Rub N' Buff Salt Scrub which is $38.00
* SOAP & GLORY Sugar Crush™ Body Scrub which is $25.00 (and my favorite of all of these)

Hope this is helpful!
