Questions & Answers for SEPHORA COLLECTION Arch It Brow Kit

Question
Are the stencils easy enough for a beginner to use?
I have pretty thick eyebrows. They used to be quite unruly, but I've been trying to make them more shapely rather than Groucho Marx-esque. But I'm worried about overdoing it, so I wind up with brows I'm still not satisfied with. Are the stencils easy enough for a near beginner to use for shaping? I just don't want to wind up with tiny, lopsided brows... Thank you!

I used the stencils when I first bought the kit. After a few months, I've found that I can free-hand my brows and it looks like I used the stencils. The kit is very easy to use, although in the beginning I would have liked more detailed instructions.

The stencils are super easy to use! They kind of stick to the skin and you hold them in place while you use the powder/gel to fill in.

I had a hard time holding the brow stencils up while coloring in! I actually used a black eyeliner to trace (just initially) and then fudge it from there. Otherwise the gel and powder are really nice, and look natural.

Question
Short, thin brows?
I have thin eyebrows that actually cut short at the outer third of my eyes.. shallow gene pool! LOL I normally use a pencil and color in what I have and extend beyond the growth point to make a nice arch, etc, so the product has to be applied directly to my skin on the outer parts. Will this brow kit work for me? Since my brows are sparse and short, will the gel/powder look too fake?

My eyebrows are pretty full but as I'm ageing, I'm finding gaps...this is the most natural looking fix I've found, I love it - and if it doesn't work, you can always return it!

I would suggest simply getting a nice brow powder/gel individually that will likely be a better match for your brow color. I do not like these colors or the consistency. They are adequate to use for shaping, but I wouldn't rely on them for fill.

Question
Does this kit come in a blonde color?
I have seen on the reviews that the kit is too dark, does it come in just this one color or does it come in lighter shades?

I am blonde and the kit works great.. the brow powder is light and the dark color on the pallet is a brown mascara... great for blonds. The look is subtle, yet defined. It doesnt look like u are a bleach bottle blonde with wicked dark brows. Truly it is just right

I have very light/ sparse eyebrows and found that using this kit has helped to shape them. You do not need to fill in the color of the stencil completely. I typically will place the stencil and only fill in 1/2 in thickness and only a small amount near the end. I find using a q-tip to fix any places with too much works perfectly. Good luck!

If you have brown skin with dark brows use the creamy stuff first, then apply the powder. Set with the gel for a finishing touch!

Since the kit has stencils I think it will help you greatly to have the shape and thickness you are looking for. The product is extremely natural looking.

It seems to me that the reason this product looks so natural is because it sticks to the hair, not the skin. If you have a lot of hair loss and need more coverage I think a pencil might be a better way to go, maybe with a stencil if you need help with the shape. Good luck, hope this helps.

I lost most of my eyebrows due to waxing/pluckin because I have sensitive skin and they burned most of it off. This is the only thing that I have tried that actually looks normal! And beleive me I have tried a lot!! The best part about it is that you can get a powder eyecolor from are essential (for example) that would match her normal hair color and mix it to get the perfect combination! It really works!!
