Questions & Answers for Philosophy Senorita Margarita Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath

Question
Hair conditioner
I see that this is a shampoo, but is it also a hair conditioner and if so, does it make it easy to comb your hair when you get out of the shower?

Definitely not conditioning. It's mainly a cleanser. I'd use a conditioner in-shower or a leave-in when you're done; that's what I do.
Hope this helps!

This product is a shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bubble bath. I've used it on my fine, long, thick, color-treated hair and I've had no trouble after using this product! I love it and I hope you will too!

You'll want to use an extra conditioner after you wash your hair with this. Especially if you have thick or dry hair.

If you have short, no-volume, "virgin" (to chemicals) hair, I think you MIGHT be able to get away with it. Although, truly, I would still use a light conditioner to deter static, remove leftover surfactants, and help seal the cuticle.

I have fine to medium, long, shoulder-blade length, several-times-over highlighted hair with light wave that requires a medium to thick conditioner to be happy. This did not work for me as a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, and I wouldn't recommend it as such. I ALWAYS have to follow with conditioner.

I hope this helps! :o)

I love these products more than anything, but I really only use them as a shower gel. Even if you use it as shampoo, I would still use a separate conditioner, too, especially if your hair is dry, damaged or color treated.

The product itself will leave your hair soft and in a conditioned state. But no, It can't be used as a conditioner.

I have hair about four inches past my shoulder blades. Pretty long...

I use conditioner, too, when I use this product because my hair has a tendency to tangle. I would recommend that anyone do the same.

I personally do not believe in 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner products. Conditioner helps to rinse out shampoo and moisturizes the scalp. It also moisturizes the cuticle. Until I'm proven wrong, I will continue in this belief, and I suggest you use conditioner with it. too.

Yes, when I am in a rush and don't have time to shampoo & condition, I use this product on my hair.

This is primarily just a shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath. I have very dry hair, use this as a shampoo and apply my regular conditioner as usual. This isn't drying to my already dry hair at ALL. Don't worry, using this on your hair isn't like putting regular body wash on your head. It works like a high-quality shampoo. My husband has very greasy/oily hair and will wash his hair using only Philosophys 3-1. This leaves his very long, straight hair smooth and tangle free.

They don't test their products on animals, but some of the ingredients used in their products have previously been tested on animals by other firms/companies.
Hope this helps!
