I've been using it for a few weeks and I've noticed a small improvement in dark circles. It seems to help concealer go on smoother too.

It supposedly advertises saying that one of the benefit is that it does diminish dark circles. I have that problem due to bad genes. I haven't benefited from it at all. Also using it on upper lid causes irritation.

Question
Can this product be used on the upper eyelids?
I just purchased this eye cream and while reading the instructions, I noticed that it says to avoid putting this on the upper eyelids. I was wondering why it can't be used on the upper eyelids and if I should find a separate eye cream for my upper eyelids?

I use it on my upper lids..crease and up..products to spread and sprawl so just don't apply it right up to your lash line until you've really tested it. I use it all around my eyes.

I haven't used it on my upper lids, as like you, I read not to do that. Since I find the product dry under the eye, I wouldn't think your eye shadow would go on well if you used this on the upper lid. I use the Philosophy eye cream on my upper lid, instead.

I am assuming that is the case since it has sunscreen in it. But if you are sensitive to sunscreen, putting it just below your eye may still give you a sting if you are like me.

I didn't know you weren't supposed to. I've applied mine to both upper and lower lids from day one. I'm using it for the spf protection and want it all around my eyes. I've haven't had a problem with it at all.

Probably because that area (eye lids and brow) are very thin-skinned and limiting the application area reduces the chances of irritation. I put it all over my eye without any problems, but everyone is different. Suggest you dab a test to see if you have any kind of reaction, but I think a product with a higher spf is probably better, like Dior, to protect the delicate skin of the eyes.

Personally I found it very irritable when I used it on the upper lids. I couldn't stop rubbing my eyes. Lower part weren't bad when used in moderation but I'm not sure why.

Funny; I didn't even read the directions! Which is so not like me but regardless, I do apply it in the evening on my eyelids. Only noticed it is a bit much to add it in the morning because my eyeliner is too difficult to apply~it slides right off. I've been using it for one month and my eyelids see fine :).

Two reasons not to dab the eye cream to the upper lid..............The first being that your eyeliner and shadows will not stay put. The second is that the cream will possibly seep into the eye and it will be uncomfortable. I am looking forward to some favorable results. The evening primrose oil is great for the skin.

When is it ok to begin use of this?

It's fine. It is so nice and soothing, it would definately prevent aging and at your age, it is so brightening you may not even feel the need to wear makeup over it, I think anyone at any age would greatly benefit from it.

It's not harsh on the skin ans just because your young doesn't mean you can't start preventing aged skin. It definitely hydrates the skin and feels soothing. It's helped me from having dry skin under my eyes! :)

As long is it doesn't aggravate your skin, you're never too young. The look for me is more brightening than anything. I don't really have fine lines so I wasn't looking for that aspect at all.

You can use it at your age, as a preventative. It is never too early to start, and it won't hurt you. It's a natural product, and it doesn't really do much as far as tightening the skin.

According to every dermatologist I've ever talked to, it's never too early to start protecting your skin from the sun. This is one of the few eye creams I've seen with an SPF 6. At your age, I would stay away from oily/creamy products like this for the rest of your face unless you have very dry skin. (Something like a mineral powder with a low SPF might be perfect for daily wear on the rest of your face - calms acne too.) I don't think that over the counter creams like this do much if anything to help people who already have sun/age damage. So do your future-self a huge favor and start protecting your skin from the sun now.

it is perfect for use at night. I get the most out of my skin products by applying them while my skin is still damp from cleansing. the epidermis is more receptive to your product then, as the top layer of skin is moist. I put a bit of eye cream on the side of my hand- a dab about the diameter of the top of a pencil eraser- then press my ring finger into the product. tap all around eye and then onto lid gently- never tug or push the skin here. then I apply my facial moisturizer. I like to apply a tiny bit extra eye cream for night time, as I am not wearing makeup and can really nourish the skin there while I am sleeping. I really like this eye cream, and it is a great value! I hope this helped.

Question
Which is the best Korres eye cream?
For those of you who have tried more than one of Korres' eye creams, which one really works the best if I have young skin but moderately dry under the eye? I also have dark circles, and no cream has worked for me so far in improving this. I'm interested in trying one of Korres' creams, but can't decide.

dont get the oak and quercetin cream it STINKS. (I mean I did not care for its scent). also it will not do anything for the dark shadows. The evening primrose has a hint of zinc, which I think doubles as a sun protectant and covers the darkness below your eyes. I would get it if I were you, its lovely.

Yes, it is expiring soon. This also happened to me. Take it back to Sephora and get it exchanged. They will exchange it with no qualms whatsoever. Don't ever use a product that's expired as it can grow bacteria that can be harmful to your eyes and skin.

Yes. If the cream says its expiration date is 09/09, then it is definitely expired now/way past its expiration date. I would not recommend using this cream, and to throw it out immediately. As with all skincare and cosmetics in general, but especially those with organic and/or natural ingredients, using them past their expiration date can hurt and irritate the skin. Hope this helps! :D
