Question
does this eye cream erase fine lines and wrinkles?

answer 1
No - as someone else mentioned, you can never "erase" fine lines/wrinkles. That's why product advertisements always say they will "reduce the appearance" of aging, rather than erase it, because it can't be reversed. This product does reduce the appearance of wrinkles and it is very preventive, which is the most any antiaging product can do. I started using this after I noticed fine lines appearing under my eyes and since then they have not gotten any worse, and since the area is more hydrated now the lines are a lot less noticeable. But they'll never be gone forever.

I find, that as someone hovering around 30, that yes, daily (2x per day) use of this product reduces the appearance of fine lines in the eye area.

Hi there, this one is just supposed to be hydrating the eye area so it definitely does not "erase" wrinkles and fine lines. One other precaution that my friend told me is that we technically can't "erase" wrinkles/fine lines but we can "prevent" them. So if you already have them, I would suggest trying the Shiseido benefiance eye patch treatment, I heard that's pretty effective but really pricey. Check out its reviews.

This product did seem to help, however if you are only purchasing one eye cream I would go for something stronger. I use the enlivening amino-AG Eye treatment in the morning and the intensive eye treatment at night. I think the combination works great. The intensive eye treatment seems too heavy to wear under make up but the amino-ag treatment seems to light for a night eye cream.

Question
I have eye bags, they're really puffy and dark. Will they go away?
I think its genetics, because no matter how much i sleep they're still dark and always puffy. NO makeup in the world can hide them. I want them gone so bad. Do you think this product will clear them? If so, how much time is needed to see improvement?

According to the Mayo clinic, causes for under eye circles range from thinning skin (from aging), allergies, eczema, congestion, sun exposure, AND heredity. You seem to think it's genetic since they are always there, and I bet you're right. Expecting this to change the color is a lot to ask, but you should be able to reduce the puffiness with this cream. To combat the darkness, you might have to try addressing each cause on its own (spf, allergy meds, collagen creams to plump up the skin) to see what works.

I have bags at times and this product did not help. The only thing this did for me was moisturize. A GREAT product for reducing under-eye bags is Origins GinZing eye cream. I got a free sample and was amazed at how quickly it deflated the puffiness! I used it the morning after I'd cried the previous night and it took care of business in under 5 minutes. I wish Sephora sold Origins! Until that day, you can go to the Origins website, origins.com. Boscia has fantastic cleansers and moisturizers, but this cream did not do what it's billed to. Good luck!

Even though this helps decrease puffiness and dark circles around the eye area, I don't think there's any product that will ever get rid of it completely. But it should definitely help and feels very soothing around the eye area. I have dark circles too, but if I use this in the morning, let it sink in, and then use concealer afterwards it looks so much better than using makeup alone.

probably not. Someone recommended pureeing fresh cucumber in a food processor and putting a teaspoon wrapped in a paper towel to create eye pillows for that. I haven't tried it, but it sounds great. They recommended pureeing it because then you get the juices. I bet if you did that nightly and used this eye cream in the morning and at night, it would help

Question
Affecting the sinuses?
For some reason, ever since I have started using this product, I feel like it has been affecting my sinuses. I have a hard time breathing through my nose right after I put it on and I have started to get sinus headaches. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? I'm not sick, and I don't have allergies so I'm not sure what is going on.

the only answer that I have to this problem is that maybe you are covering you eye ducts. that will clog the eyes from breathing and the the natural lubrication you eyes need there for cause you to have sinus build up and headaches. try applying less around those areas and see what happens next. If it doesn't work then maybe you maybe allergic to some of the ingredients.

It is weird that I am reading this because I am having similar problems. Sinus issues and watery eyes. I thought it was the mascera I bought from Sephora, but when I stopped using it my eyes kept watering. So now I am going to NOT use the eye cream and see if this is the issues. I hope it is because these sinus issues/watery eyes has been really bothersome. I will report back if this was the issues.

I doubt this will reduce the actual wrinkles - no creams do, really, all they work on is reducing the *appearance* of lines and wrinkles. BUT I've found this leaves the skin under my eyes looking toned and refreshed. The wrinkles are still there, obviously, but not as noticeable. Feels great, too!

If you want to see any difference in fine lines, you have to go with something containing retinol. Retinol is your best bet for wrinkle reduction. I recommend StriVectin (available on Sephora.com) or ROC Retinol Correxion (available at drug stores and grocery stores). I've used ROC and have seen results! Good luck!

I'm sure that they are the same, but the big difference is the product it self. If you pump out a small amount onto your hand, you will see that one has a more rich creamy look and the color is white while the other is a lighter, more thin and clear color.

This product is lighter. It is silky and glides on. I use this in the morning and I use the intensive eye treatment at night. This product seems too light for a night eye cream and the intensive eye treatment seems too heavy to wear under make-up. Both products are great, I would recomment both. If you only want to purchase one, I would choose this product. It is a little more versatile.

The other is much heavier. I was told it was more for aging, so I grabbed it! Hated it, went back and exchanged it for the Enlivening. My cousin agreed when I told her. If anything you could use this one for day and the other for night. This is much lighter!

The AG eye treatment is more lightweight, treats puffy eyes, in an almost gel -cream like texture. The intensive eye is more creamy, deeply hydrating for dry eyes and has a bit more firming action to it. It is not really designed to deal with the puffies. My take on it is the Intensive is for more mature or dry eyes, while the AG is better for gals in the 25-40 age range looking for a lighter weight eye cream.

Is this product more similar to a gel or a cream?

I've used both the Hope in a Tube and the Boscia Amino-AG Eye treatment. The Hope in a Tube is a white cream and the Boscia is a gel. I had no results with the Hope in a Tube, tried Eye Hope and was disappointed, then switched to the Boscia Amino gel. I MUCH prefer the Boscia Amino gel since I really like the consistency, my under eye area is smoother and my upper eye area firmer.

New to Eye Creams
I'm in my 40s, VERY OILY, acne and sensitve contact lens wearer. But with all the acne treatments i use and age I find my eye area getting dry/tight. How do I know an eye cream is moisturizing enough? Does it take time or is it instant? I just bought this one and Im not sure what to think.

I'm also a contact-lens wearer with very oily skin and prone to acne. This eye cream is my favorite, but everyone is different - what works well for one person might not work at all for another. An effective hydrating product should work both instantly and over time. It should really only take a few minutes to absorb into your skin, so you should instantly feel more hydrated. At the same time, if you use it continually, then you should also notice a beneficial effect over time from using the product after several days or even weeks (e.g. improved elasticity, brighter skin, diminished appearance of fine lines, etc). Only you can tell if this is working for you, so if you don't feel like this one is doing it, I would recommend switching.
