I find it odd that a powder runs and smudges. It sounds like you have oily eyes. I suggest using a primer, and after applying this, you could 'extra' set it with some translucent powder. The BE line has a oil control "prime time" and you could try that, as well as using the eye prime time.

Make sure each night you are cleansing your face really well and applying an appropriate moisturizer.

But honestly, if your eyes are that sensitive and oily, you are better off going to your derm. to get that all resolved. Powder doesn't run...your oils make it do so.

BE makes a waterproofing kit, available online & possibly at Sephora. I like it OK in some circumstances, but actually prefer the softer look applying the liners with a brush. Mine doesn't move much, even after step class.

Question
WHAT COLOR LINER???
My brows are very dark brown, & eyes are a rich dark brown with very subtle honey flecks--which you only see close-up.

I've always used black liner--whether pencil or powder. No matter how dark the color brown, the liner does NOT show up against my very, very dark lashes. {The only exception is a very deep brown by Armani}

If you suggest I go with black, please recommend the proper shade: on the computer the "soft black" looks very gray...but so does the ebony.

ALSO: I do NOT want a liner that contains any glitter or metallic particles. 1 review mentioned a littery look, but I'm not sure if that pertained specifically to the green liner she purchased.

I'm embarrassed about having submitted so many questions...However, I've been glued to your website for nearly 4 hours, so I imagine I'm permitted a long list of questions!
Again, --so many thanks,

Try the Midnight Sky. It's a dark blue rather than black, and should give you the intensity you're comfortable with. The blue should set off the golden flecks in your eyes and look really pretty. To get BE liner shadows to really show up, use a liner fixative (Too Faced Liquif-Eye, BE Weather Everything, etc) and apply wet. If you're feeling brave, Sailor is a bright blue that would look great on you, but will be a very different look from the black you're used to. Bon Bon might look really good on you as well.

By best color did you mean eyeliner or I shadow? As for there eyeliner i dont really like it that much, it doesnt show up very good. i use mary kay eyeliner dark brown and i have blue eyes. But i do love to use the eyeliner overtop of my eyshadow for a colored tint. i use the free to be natuarally adventerous and instead i use the dare eyeliner as eyeshadow over the other two colors and it looks amazing!!!!1

I have somewhat blue eyes with a little greenish tint. I used to use the BE vanilla sugar up to the browline and put the peach puff just on my eyelid. It was okay but didnt show p very well. i recently got the free to be naturally adventerous kit and i love it!! i put the exquisite eyecolor up to the brow line and put the cleopatra just on my eyelid. Then instead of using dare as an eyeliner i put a little bit on each eyelid for a blue tint!!!! i've gotten a lot of complements it really works

Apply it wet or dry with a liner brush. BE also makes soft focus liner brushes that create a smokey effect with little effort.

Bare Escentuals recommends using their Soft Focus Liner Brush, item #1089994 on Sephora.com, to achieve a “soft-as-air effect” with the bareMinerals Liner Shadows.

For a more intense, precise line, try the Slanted Liner Brush, item #1053446 on Sephora.com.

The Liner Shadows can be applied wet or dry to achieve multiple effects.

Question
How do I keep it from flaking onto my foundation?
I've read the reviews about how long-wearing this product is and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. I use it wet with an eyeliner brush but at some point during the day it slides down the inside of my eye socket(s) and lands on the side of my nose. I'm in my 40s so I don't need anything dark (I purchased onyx) sitting underneath my eyes. Help! I want to love this product but so far I'm very unhappy with it.

I have blue eyes too! And even with the little grey in it, brown can really POP your look, try a light brown and then a darker one for a crease shadow, and an even darker shadow for your corner! I really like urban decay ones, and 'Kid' by Mac for my eyelid shadow!
