Question
I already use mineral veil and I love it. I am interested in trying the tinted mineral veil. What does the "tint" look like on your skin?

I have fair skin and I didn't like to use the tinted mineral veil in the winter. In the summer I thought it gave me that added color you need for your summer skin. I guess it matters what your skin color is and what your looking for.

My daughter is lighter than me and she still likes the tinted. I would recommend this for all but the fairest skin tones.

It really doesn't matter. The orignal gives you sheer coverage and the tinted just gives you a hint of color. I guess it really matters what you are looking for.

Question
I want a foundation that feels light on my skin, is this product good for that unlike the other foundation by this brand?
I have oily skin and most foundations makes my skin look like its caked on. I am looking for something that feels light and flawless. So hence my question

The Bare Escentuals foundation is great for us oily folks. I too have oily skin. If you combine the foundation and mineral veil you will notice a natural coverage that doesn't melt off.

This is a product that's good for that. I have the same type of skin you have. My skin tends to get oily during the day, so using Mineral Veil helps. It doesn't look caked on at all, trust me. And it's very light. My friends were shocked when they heard that I use makeup. That's how great it is. It doesn't even look like you are wearing any makeup.

I have not tried the Dior, but I do use it over my Laura Mercier Tinted moisturizer, my Chanel foundation and my Nars foundation. It works great no matter the foundation. I have to date not found a foundation that has not worked with a little brush of mineral veil to finish it off.

No it is lighter and has light reflecting minerals and a tiny bit of sparkle, not obvious glitter just a bit of light catching shine.

The one that you buy separately, is twice the size of the one in the starter set. You can also find even larger sizes.

Regarding your question about shine and the control that Mineral Veil has, for me, the Mineral Veil lasts about 4-5 hours, and then I do a slight retouch. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

Question
Light Asian skin, black hair
What's the difference between Mineral Veil feather light, which says it gives a luminous finish, and bare mineras all over face color - flawless radiance and clear radiance, which both say provideglow and illumination.
I would like a powder that both finishes, and gives a natural glow, after using bare minerals foundation (light shade - which I assume is the best shade for my skin).
Many thanks.

I LIKE THE SHEER MINERAL VEIL ALL OVER ,AFTER YOU APPLY THEIR FOUNDATION. IT SETS IT AND ABSORBS EXCESS OIL. THE FEATHER LIGHT HAS A LITTLE BIT OF SHEER PINK TO GIVE YOUR SKIN THAT GLOWING EFFECT.i LIKE TO USE THAT AT NIGHT.

With my experience with BE, and in my opinion, if I were you I would go with either the tinted mineral veil, which will give you a smooth even finish and a touch of color (maybe too dark for your complexion if you are real light. I use it when I have some tan on my face, but once my tan is gone, it is a little too dark for my complexion and I am light, so I switch back to the regular mineral veil.) Or you should try the all over face color in a light shade. The difference is that many of the all over face colors have a sparkle to them, and they may not make your skin look as matte as the mineral veil.

I've used the regular non-tinted Mineral Veil and it looks completely natural all the time, whether it's the middle of winter and my skin is quite light, or when I have a deep tan. It really is completely sheer. The Feather Light Mineral Veil is completely sheer also, but seems to have tiny sparkles in it. Sometimes if I put it on heavy-handed I feel like I look 'overdone' for daytime. If you haven't used it at all before I would suggest starting with the regular, non-tinted Mineral Veil.

I love this product, but I can not tell much of a difference between the regular mineral veil and the tinted versions. Sorry I can not tell you what shade, but I don't think it makes much of a difference.

Bare Escentuals does NOT contain parabens. It says it in the "What else you need to know" section, and I double checked on my product as well.
