It wont hurt to do either really (it's just moisturizer). If you have dry lips, feel free to put it on directly. Even if you accidentally lick your lips a few minutes later, it doesnt have a 'moisturizer'/chemical-y taste but it's thicker than say, chapstick, so it'd hydrate better.

That's a darn good question and one I didn't think of! I assumed it goes ON the lips, but it would make sense that you could use it AROUND them for fine lines too. The bottle just talks about how to use it on the eyes.

I think either is . Its really effective when placed around the lips to minimize vertical lines. I used it on the lips and around and it's a good base for liner/ lipstick.

I think it is meant to use around the lips for fine lines around the mouth - not actually on your lips.

It works on those little lines that come up from your upper lip. Even if you never smoked (which makes them worse) eventually you will have these lines! and it does help immensely.

I've noticed from using this on my lips that it smooths out any lines. I also use it around my mouth, in the "laugh line' area.

It just moisturizes your lips, but it's less moisturizing and protective than some more waxy lip balms.

As you age, you tend to get fine lines around your lips. (Purse your lips for a little preview of what the skin around them will look like when you're really old.) The benefit of using this cream around your mouth is to protect and moisturize the skin there.

Yes this is safe to use on your eyelids. I use it every day and have no problems. It takes away the brown color above my eyes and the wrinkles under my eyes. Great stuff.

If you want to be safe during pregnancy, I suggest you look into products by Garden of even skin care, coastal classics and california baby. Almost nothing at Sephora is safe for pregnancy. You could easily find website for these brands by googling.

Print the list of ingredients and take it to your OB/GYN. I can't imagine why it wouldn't be safe.

yes, this is safe to use during pregnancy. There are very, VERY few products that are applied topically that would be discouraged during pregnancy. Most ingredients in topical creams do not absorb into your bloodstream, therefore entering your baby's system. Any creams that contain medicine, as in a prescription cream, would be something you should ask about specifically but natural eye creams such as this are completely safe. It's very important to keep up with your beauty routine while pregnant and after your baby arrives so you don't forget about you. It keeps you more healthy and happy. :) Hope this helped. Check out the Skin Deep cosmetic database. Either google it, or here's a link with the company selected (then just browse products). It'll give you a rundown of what the ingredients are (if the specific product is in the database - if not, and you have the bottle, you can enter them yourself) and what common ingredients are used for/potential reactions, and scores them on a 1 to 10 scale of 'toxicity'. Just take it with a grain of salt, *nothing* out there is 100% chemical free, it's just not commercially possible. So dont let the fact that they (for example) score "fragrance" at level 8, just because it doesnt say what the "fragrance" components are made of (a lot of companies keep that as a trade secret)

YES! I love this product. It is super lightweight and a perfect preventative measure. I tried the Premier Cru eye cream and it was too rich, I was left with clogged pores. I love the Pulpe Vitaminee eye cream and use it day and night.

I'm 21 and it is perfect, I think its made for people our age to prevent premature ageing. So I definitely recommend it :)

Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee is a perfect mosturizer. Even though the visibility of wrinkles should be reduced and the dark circles should be lightened, do not trust these promises. However, this cream could be used perfectly on its own. The skin around eyes will be smooth and hydrated.

No I honestly really don't think its needed plus this has a nice tint that I wouldn't want to cover up.

If you have particularly dry skin around the eyes you could certainly use another cream on top of this for times when it acts up. If you want a serum however, I would purchase one. They usually having stronger or different ingredients. I would not double up on creams unless you like the results you get.

It has helped my horrible dark circles. Try it for a month to 6wks. May need something with it in deep of winter but otherwise doubt it

I would guess no. I have hyperpigmentation on my forehead, and I've been told I need to use products prescribed through my dematologist to combat this issue.

The ingredient that lightens the dark circles addresses the problem by addressing the small capillary veins under the skin which cause the dark circles so it would not cause any darkening of the spots on your lips. The products used to lighten dark age spots on the face, however, I would steer clear of. They contain the same type ingredients as the Porcelena cream that Michael Jackson used to lighten his skin. Hope this helps you. If you are still concerned, put a bit of vaseline on the spots on your lips before applying this cream and it will block it from that area. Best wishes. :)

This product helps lighten the dark pigmentation on my lips but you have to be patient because it doesn't work overnight.

I just use this cream around eye area only. But about your lips concern, why don't you use a lip pencil to lighten it, then lipstick/gloss? Nars pencils are very good. Give it a try.

I don't really see the difference in under eye circle either (but this is one of my problems that NO product has ever worked). What I would say is, I've been using this for 2-3 years now and not switching to other brands because it is a superb eye moisturizer. It is not greasy, yet it's able to keep my under eye area moist for the whole day (without reapplying) and that helps getting rid of the puffiness quite effectively.

I wouldn't use another moisturizer with it. It is very hydrating without being heavy. It is a moisturizer with an added benefit of trying to minimize the under dark circles. I love it as a moisturizer, but did not see any improvement in dark circles, though I dont usually have them so I am not the best judge of that. It goes on extremely well and is the nicest eye cream I've used thus far.

I've been using the eye serum in conjunction with this eye cream. I would definitely use some type of moisturizer with the serum as the serum is the tratment step that usually goes under a moisturizer. I'm pretty sure that the serum wasn't meant to be considered your eye moisturizer.
