How's the color for the tinted versions?
I'm curious as to how much "color" shows up when using the tinted versions. Can you compare it to other stains like Stila's for example? I would like some color, but not so much where I cannot wear it everyday with everything. Thanks!

I own Berry, Rose, Coral, and Petal, and they all have great color pay off! Rose and Berry are both what I'd consider sheer, but you can put another coat or two to really make them pop. All of the colors are lovely, and they do a wonderful job at healing your lips. Some of my absolute favorite lip balms/lip sticks.

I LOVE the petal! It is gorgeous. I actually do use this in place of lipstick. It gives me quite a bit of color. A very pretty neutral pink. It has become my everyday lipstick!

I have the Rose and it is not noticeable at all which is weird because I tried it on the back of my hand at the store and it looked sheer and rosy. The one at the store was halfway though the tube and a little melted, but I don't think that should make a difference. I do have really pale pink lips. I think you should try them all while at the store to find your best color, but the product is still lovely!

I've tried the Rose, Plum and Passion. I have pretty fair skin with cool undertones.
Love the Plum because it gives a nice colour that can go from day to night with a natural healthy pigment. My favorite fo sho!
Rose is, as everyone said, a great sheer colour that enhances your natural lip colour (if u have lighter-tan skin again) and smoothes over little imperfections and hydrates and smells nice!
Passion is a red with slight orange tones in it. And while it looked, smelled and felt great on the back of my hand when i tested it, when I brought it home it was really obvious that it didnt flatter, but I really cannot wear red-orange, so I'm sure this would be quite beautiful on someone who has warmer undertones :)

I have only tried the rose, and I feel that even on my very pale skin, it is too sheer. (It does not look as if I have put on any color at all.) This is something I say rarely given my skin tone. I feel that it has far less color than fresh's lip glosses and other sheer but pigmented brands of lip balm. I would try the colors in person, and if I bought again, I would probably get 'passion' and not 'rose.' (Or try to sample in person.) I think it is a nice product, but I didn't pick the color very carefully.

I have the nude tinted version and the color isn't too overpowering but it's not really too sheer either.

I have a pretty dark rose tint to my lips naturally and the nude version gives a really neutral and natural look. The color might be more intense if you've got a lighter natural lip color.

I have used the plum and the honey. They are awesome. They give you a good amount of color, but not as much as a lipstick. They feel so good and smell good too. I like the honey for a natural look when I have a little bit of a tan. The plum looks good anytime.

I would not use this as an eye wrinkle moisturizer, it will not absorb into the skin well. I would use an eye cream targeted for reducing wrinkles. If you don't have wrinkles and want prevention, go for a light eye cream. But if you have wrinkles I would go with a heavier one.

no, it uses lemon in it for one, and that is NOT an eye safe ingredient. while it is very emollient, keep this to your lips, and maybe use fresh's black tea eye cream for wrinkling around the eye. visit your local sephora to talk with a skin care rep, they can guide you toward the perfect eye cream for you.

this is really pricey for a lip balm. what makes it so worth it?? it seems like soooo many people love it so what is the reason why i should buy a 23$ lip balm when i can buy a 2$ one at the drugstore?

No...not worth 22$. I don't let my lips get really chapped or dry, and I don't like the really cheap drugstore chapsticks, but I do really like Burt's Bees, Yes to Carrots, and Badger and they are a much better buy than this. Burt's Bees and Yes to Carrots also has tinted products as well if you're looking for color. I do like this product, but it's a little insulting to charge $22 for it. Not worth it.

I don't use it all the time. I use it every other time and then it lasts longer. It truly is worth it. I think they both work better when you take turns with them rather than just using the same one all the time, and the Sugar Lip Treatment is very healing. When the cheap ones don't cut it, I can always count on the sugar lip treatment to work.

to be completely honest, I don't think the cost is worth it at all. There is nothing this product brings, that you can't get in a drugstore brand like a Burt's Bees. I think what you're paying for most is the packaging. It's a very nice sturdy tube and the top screws on, so it can't just fall off in your bag, which is nice. Not 23 bucks nice, though. Maybe ... 7 dollars nice if anything. As far as product efficacy is concerned, I am not at all impressed with it. I really wanted to be, based on all the positive reviews, but I just can't seem to find an angle in which to justify what I spent on it.

It is meant for sensitive skin for people who have allergies to lanolin or

It hard to buy this lip treatment over and over because of the price but it really does work better than any other lip balm I have ever used. My lips never get chapped. They stay plump, soft and hydrated when I use this treatment. Better than my standby Burt Bees, way better than chapstick, blistex, carmex and nivea. Say Yes to Carrots is pretty good but Fresh is better.

This is not like any other product I've used. Regular chap stick is waxy and takes care of your problem temporarily - this lip treatment actually moisturises your lips and fixes the problem, so you end up using less in the end. I have full lips that crack and bleed with normal chapstick (even Burt's Bees!) but this lip treatment CURED the problem, and makes my lips feel and look gorgeous. It's the real deal. I've gone from constant chapped lips to using the treatment once at night and once in the morning. I can't tell you enough - and I paid the $28 it costs in Canada! I have all three colours now, and I don't get flaky lips any more! LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

There IS another set with this product in it. This customer should have bought that kit instead like I did, then he or she may have like this product better. Like I mentioned before, this lip treatment is way too expensive for costing $22.50, but if it's somewhere in the $15-$20 range, then it would be better....I noticed 1000 customers already bought them. However, to some of us, it is still on the pricier side, so limiting us to only buying it once or at most twice.

0.15 oz tube, so you're getting the same amount as your standard tube of chapstick.

A 'tube' of Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is almost as long as the barrel (~ 2/3), and not quite the diameter -- it is a good amount of lip balm. You won't need to load it on, and it is long-lasting, so a tube lasts quite awhile.

If you haven't tried it yet, I suggest starting out with the original (no color) FRESH Sugar balm. Most likely you will probably LOVE it, so you will end up trying all the tinted versions, which are all great (I prefer the Rose of all the tinted balms).

as much as i hate spending that much money on a lip balm, it is worth it if you want a natural amount of color on your lips, ive purchased so many coral/red/plum colors either gloss/balms gloss lip stick mix and this is perfect. So I do recomment it

Good question! I asked myself that too before i bought it 3x. This is worth $22 IF:

You've tried multiple methods to keep your lips smooth and healthy but nothing works.
You're tired of wasting money on temporary treatment.
This product's effects last longer than the amount of time it spends on your lips.

The only thing you can do for your skin, lips, and face is to exfoliate and moisturize. This is the best moisturizer out there and will boost your lip's health.

Snatch a sample from sephora if you can. Its worth asking for.

Absolutely worth every dollar. I love this treatment I have tried rosebud salve, but this one is just so much better for dry, chapped lips. This is not a gloss, this is an actually treatment.

MOST DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY! It's definitely pricey, but a tube lasts a relatively long time because you don't have to constantly reapply it. It lasts for a fairly long time throughout the day.

In my opinions, I believe so. I've used many drugstore lip balms/treatments and this one is at the top of my list. I love the scent, convenient tube packaging, and is very moisturizing. If you're still iffy about it, try it when you get the 20% off Family & Friends deal.
