it is not very sweet; it reminds me of a mild lemon waxy taste. However, it is not over powering and is very delightful. I had to get used to the taste, nevertheless i am a adherent buyer of this lip treatment.

From what I understand it is exactly the same product but the stick of product in the tube is colored. I was told that the color portion of the product is not a stain and can wipe away easily

As far as lasting on your lips, yes it lasts long. However, the product in the tube seems to run out fast, and at $23...Your decision. I bought mine about 2 1/2 weeks ago and there's about an inch left of it. But, I love this product and will never buy another "lip treatment" again.

This lip treatment does last long but within a 1-2 hour time frame. Plus its main ingredient is sugar or brown sugar its quite wearable because sugar is sweet and sticky which stays on your lips but not in your mouth.

Question
texture
Is this lip treatment more solid than the Rose version? I have the Rose version and it melts whenever it gets a little too warm, which has kind of been preventing me from using it. I was thinking of buying the Original if it was any better.

This one also doesn't stand up well to heat. I find that it gets very soft when it's in a warm environment (i.e., pants pocket, hot car, etc.). You have to be careful or the whole stick could break off.

Mine never melted on me. But I didn't have it for too long because I lost it. It was really good to use though. I really need to get some more.

This lip treatment does not shimmer. It does provide maximum sun protection, all day moisture and best of all it's not sticky or super glossy. It gives a completely natural look and gives lips a more youthful appearance. I have purchased this treatment over 5 times now and each time use the ENTIRE container.

I did too! For me, it's because I have a bad reaction to jojoba oil in any facial skincare. It took about a week for it to kick in, but was hard to get it to calm down.
