i agree with the other reviewer. i hate buying foundations, lipsticks, or lip glosses online because the shade that i thought looked good is actually not what i had pictured or thought and it's frustrating because i have to keep returning until i find the right one. i agree about buying more than 1 of the product, like buy 2 or 3 of them in different shades that you think are the closest to what you're looking for and then try them on when they arrive, and return the ones that you liked the least.

you should get your shade because if you go one shade lighter you will end up looking like you're wearing a mask. I'd recommend shade 03 for your complexion.

I'd get the color to match your skin, unless you like a goth look or want someone to think your sick. If your face doesn't match your all over skin tone it looks made up. Hope this helps. Good luck!

If you can visit a store, you can try all the shades to find the best match. The shade I use is slightly lighter than my skin color, but looks perfect

Question
Cargo OneBase color choice for my skin tone
I am a 47 year old female with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. I have a light complexion but not pasty white. I seem to look better with yellow undertones.. I do not like peach or orange unertones. (I am a Laura Mercier TM Sand) which shade would you recommend. Also, Cargo web site doesn't have the new 025 shade and was wondering why. Also, I have normal to slightly dry skin, will this work for me and is it better for oily skin? Thank you!

I'd recommend Shade 2 because I think Shade 1 are for people with true fair skintones.

I would recommend shade 2, but if you get paler in the winter, you may want to buy Shade 1 as well.

Yes, that is the problem with buying things like this online. If you can't try it in the store, you could buy two shades, the two closest to your skin tone and return the one that doesn't work out since sephora has such a great return policy.

Because this is a two in one product finding a match will really depend on how you are using it. If you are just using it under the eyes I suggest going about a half to one shade brighter than your natural skin tone. If you plan on using it on the face and under the eyes I suggest trying match your skin tone as closely as possible.

answer 3
That is a difficult question. Yes it is hard to match your skin tone without testing the product. I am medium skin and I use OB2. You can alway blend it with a conceler you have at home. I think it would be better to end up with a shade too light then a shade too dark if you are trying to cover circles.....sorry I couldnt be more helpful.

Question
Does this product come in darker shades or is 4 a dark shade?
I used this product about a 2 years ago, and i loved it. that's why I would like to order it again but it seems that I remember there being darker shades (for african-american women) that went up to 7. Maybe i don't remember quite well, but i bought the product in stores. could it be that the other shades are not carried online?

It's highly recomended for oily skins. It doesn't make the skin more oily and it doesn't wear off easily. It also doesn't feel sticky after wearing it for some hours, even in closed, heated places, so there's no need to worry on cheking your make-up during a going-out dinner with your friends...

You can still get it at Ulta or online stores, however the closest thing I have found to this is the SmashBox High Definition Concealer. Try it in a store if you can, but the SmashBox is comparable just not quite as good.
