Use it after wash and before you put your cream or lotion on. It helps to balance your skin moisture level, hydrates, heals.

You use it after washing and prior to moisturizing. This particular toner is designed to moisturize the skin while delivering therapeutic benefits; it is not as moisturizing as a lotion or cream, so you will still need to use a moisturizer. In skincare products like this are more commonly referred to as "softeners," and are used to prepare the skin for higher impact moisturizers by soaking into the outer layers so your moisturizer will not get stuck there.

If you have troubled texture (flakiness, dry spots, rough patches) this product can help alleviate some of that, and is also fantastic if your skin feels tight or irritated after washing. If you are concerned with oiliness or large pores, you would probably want to use Tonique Pure Focus. If you are typical combination skin, you can achieve the effects of both by using Tonique Douceur.

this is a toner, you use it after washing and before moisturizing. If you used it with a cotton pad and swap your face with it, it can help pick up the dirties on your face that didn't get wash off with your face washer.

i'm combination skin type, and use this in the winter when my skin really needs something hydrating. also i'm from colorado so the it's very dry here to begin with. don't think i would use it in the summer considering my skin type tho.

It depends on the composition of your skin; if your combination skin is characterized by predominant dryness with oiliness only in areas, then it will help your skin. If you are mostly normal-combination with oiliness, then you should look at Tonique Douceur instead. If you are very oily with large pores, then try Pure Focus instead.

I worked for Lancome for a long time, this product is meant for people with dry skin. It is amazing. It's very milky and creamy and feels incredible. I have normal/combo skin, but I live far up north and we have long winters here and my skin turns very dry during the winter and that's when I switch to this toner. I don't know what the person that answered before was saying, but this is NOT meant to be a cleanser. It is a comforting milk toner.
