I definitely prefer Clinique Cleansing Balm over this although I generally use them for different reasons. I use the clinique to take off a full face of makeup, waterproof mascara included and it works amazing! I only use this on days when I am just wearing mascara and nothing else but I don't think it works as well as everyone is saying. Does the same job as any drugstore makeup remover.

I would't compare this to either cleanser. Those are both oil based cleansers that you add water to and rinse off. This doesn't need to be rinsed off, you simply splash some on a cotton pad and then wipe it all over your face. Viola you are done, no rinsing needed.

Shu Uemura is my favorite cleaning oil! But comparing to Lancome, Shu Uemura would be a little bit oily, and Lancome's Bi-Facil is more gentle and I only use it on the eye area, while I apply Shu Uemura on the whole face/neck.

Cleansing oils still leave mascara on your lashes, you see it when you wake up in the morning, it is as though you didnt take your eye make up off. I have tries all of the cleansing oils to remove my mascara and nothing works like lancome bi-facil double action.

This product is better because it has two phases. Mascara is made from both watery and oily products, and to effectively remove everything, you need a product that is also based on water and oil such as this one. Cleansing oils are great for removing waterproof mascara, which has a higher amount of oily products (actually waxes) in it, but this product is even better. It is also gentler, less messy, doesn´t make your eyes go all blurry, and doesn´t let cotton ball residues get in your eyes (that really hurts).

I got a small bottle of makeup break up by Boscia with a start up kit. Way too oily for me when I removed eye makeup. got into my eyelashes and eyes! Yuk had to rinse rinse rinse. Bi-facial is WAY less oily and removes makeup MUCH better! Dont even have to rinse if ya don't want to.

I think cleansing oil is mean for your face makeup. They work very well on remove foundation etc. I usually use bi-facil to remove my eyemakeup first and then use cleansing oil to remove my face makeup. I think bi-facil is specifically for eye makeup. It's very smooth, gentle and it doesnt irratate my eyes! This is the best eye makeup remover that works on waterproof makeup as well. Hope you find this helpful:)
it is stronger and works better comparing to oil cleanser. Since oil cleanser are made for the purpose of general make up remove, like your foundation. you would find it not comfortable for your eyes, either too greasy or hurts a little, and for heavy makeup like waterproof product, can't completely remove or takes a lot of work to remove.
