I'm considering purchasing this powder/foundation, but I would like to know if it's oil-free? My skin is quite oily already and tends to break-out.

YES, this is Oil Free I have been using this for 10 years now, and I love it, I wet the sponge and apply it for the full coverage look and then apply the the powder puff over my face after and you can carry that in your purse for touch ups through out the day. Also I have just purchased Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer just to try but I will stick with Lancome Dual Finish, I am just to oily for any kind of foundation. Also this so easy and fast (like less than a minute no joke)

Question
If I wear this with nothing else, will it provide adequate coverage?
I currently use loose powder that I apply with a brush. If I were to use this pressed powder as a foundation, would it apply adequate coverage (without using moisturizer spritzing water on)??

That's how I wear it, just over my moisturizer, without liquid foundation. I apply it with a big face brush for a sheer finish, and use the sponge (dry) for more coverage. For me, personally, I don't like the way it looks when I wear it with foundation.

I wear it with a little concealer for dark circles and blemishes..if you don't have those problems you'll be golden with just this product.

This works great as an alternative to foundation. The coverage is excellent dry-I haven't tried it with a damp sponge but would probably be even better. I do use a primer that I think helps act to hold the powder better. Long wear, feels flawless. Used to use Shiseido but could not get it here or online easily so switched. This product color matches beautifully. You will not be disappointed. Do not use spritzer water.

I actually prefer this pressed powder without a moisturizer underneath. I feel it provides me with adequate coverage for a natural, non-heavy look.

I would reccommend a yellow tone to balance the redness. Maybe Matte Sand or Matte Amande? You should really pop into the store for a color match the first time.

I would suggest Porcelaine d'Ivoire. It's not too pale, so you won't look chalky, but it's not too dark, either.

0.67 oz (19 gm) according to my compact. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but I've never run out, though admittedly I don't wear a lot of makeup.

I'm not sure about the color, but you can definitely wear it as a foundation. I have some really bad breakouts (monthly) and on those days I just apply a little extra and it's not cakey and does not even feel heavy to me.

My dual finish is called Matte Bisque II. Does one of the ones offered on the website compare to that, or does it still exist and you don't carry it? Thanks.

Actually yes, this product DOES come with a sponge. In the box is a puff, a sponge, a plastic liner that sits over the actual powder makeup itself, and the compact.

No, it's a powder pad which I prefer over a sponge. Sponges get dirty. This powder press is perfect and doesn't feel "dirty". Applies the product perfectly.

I emailed lancome.com and asked the same question. They said that the product does not claim to be non-comedogenic. It contains mineral oil and petrolatum. However I have oily, acne prone skin and do not break out using this product. They also have a new oil control pressed powder that is out. I have not tried it yet and do not know if it contains oil.
