YES, this is Oil Free I have been using this for 10 years now, and I love it, I wet the sponge and apply it for the full coverage look and then apply the the powder puff over my face after and you can carry that in your purse for touch ups through out the day. Also I have just purchased Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer just to try but I will stick with Lancome Dual Finish, I am just to oily for any kind of foundation. Also this so easy and fast (like less than a minute no joke)

Question
If I wear this with nothing else, will it provide adequate coverage?
I currently use loose powder that I apply with a brush. If I were to use this pressed powder as a foundation, would it apply adequate coverage (without using moisturizer spritzing water on)??

I use it with the enclosed sponge as my foundation on my t-zone which has some redness. It covers completely dry. I wouldn't use it over foundation as it is itself a full coverage foundation when used dry with the sponge. I'm not sure why it's called a finishing powder. I consider it a foundation since it covers my broken capillaries completely. By using it with a brush, you would have very light coverage. This product can also build. I use it over my serum and moisturizer. I've never tried it wet and wouldn't spray water on it. I don't use the enclosed puff, only the sponge applicator. It matches my skin tone so perfectly that I can use it only on selected areas of my face and it is impossible to tell I'm wearing makeup.

That's how I wear it, just over my moisturizer, without liquid foundation. I apply it with a big face brush for a sheer finish, and use the sponge (dry) for more coverage. For me, personally, I don't like the way it looks when I wear it with foundation.

I wear it with a little concealer for dark circles and blemishes..if you don't have those problems you'll be golden with just this product.

This works great as an alternative to foundation. The coverage is excellent dry-I haven't tried it with a damp sponge but would probably be even better. I do use a primer that I think helps act to hold the powder better. Long wear, feels flawless. Used to use Shiseido but could not get it here or online easily so switched. This product color matches beautifully. You will not be disappointed. Do not use spritzer water.

I actually prefer this pressed powder without a moisturizer underneath. I feel it provides me with adequate coverage for a natural, non-heavy look.

I would suggest Porcelaine d'Ivoire. It's not too pale, so you won't look chalky, but it's not too dark, either.

This is a magnificent product I have been using and loving for twenty years! Begin by determining your skin's own natural tone (warm or cool, pink or yellow). Then, try to match it exactly. Sephora has great swatches; Lancome's site has swatches which also may help. It's not at all uncommon to wear different shades in the summer and winter. Your best bet is to visit your local Sephora and test colors on a cleansed area of your jawbone in the strongest light possible, preferably daylight.

I would reccommend a yellow tone to balance the redness. Maybe Matte Sand or Matte Amande? You should really pop into the store for a color match the first time.

Pick the darkest that is closest to your skin tone, it will match well! I use Matte Porcelaine Delicate I, I have Very Fair skin and that color is perfect for me...The colors you see are true and coverage is the Greatest!-So don't go too dark!-maybe a shade lighter than you think you might need. I use the powder, as a foundation without getting sponge wet and get Great coverage just using it that way on hurried mornings!

I'm not sure about the color, but you can definitely wear it as a foundation. I have some really bad breakouts (monthly) and on those days I just apply a little extra and it's not cakey and does not even feel heavy to me.

Question
Although fair-skinned, my Matt Porcelaine Delicate1 looks too light these days. What would be just a bit darker but still in the same tone?
My skin tends to pink blotches on my cheeks at time, but I have always used the lightest color foundations. Matt Porcelaine Delicate I has been great for some time, but now it makes me look pasty.
