Yes, Lancome does test on animals, as does NARS, MUFE, BENEFIT, but many don't as you will see:

Yes, Lancome does test on animals along with NARS. I do know Clinique and MAC don't. If you search caring consumers, a list will pop up in PDF of companies in beauty that test on animals and don't

Actually, despite what the other answer says, Lancome IS recognized by PETA as one of the companies that tests on animals. Hope that helps! Most of the time, if it's not tested on animals, it'll be listed on the package (or, in the case of online shopping, Sephora usually lists it for us in the product description!)

i think it's a talc free blush. but it does contain mica (i think) you should google for the ingredient list :D

Description of Rose Fresque color?
This may be a difficult question to answer, but this color is sold online only. I'm asking people who use this color to describe it as best they can, as well as their skin tone. These blushes last sooo long, that Lancome changed their formulation of Cedar Rose (which was my go-to blush) since my last purchase, and it is now more apricot and lost its rosiness. I need a replacement and I'm wondering if this could be it? Please be as detailed as possible, and pictures are always great. You have no idea how sad I am about the color change in Cedar Rose!

I really like "Rose Fresque" . It is more pink than "Cedar Rose". It is lighter than "Aplum" which is too dark for my skintone.

I used Cedar Rose also for many years... and felt as you when they stopped selling it. I think this color is not only a very good substitute but a newer and more up-to-date look, if you know what I mean. It still goes well with our skin tones but it is a fresher look. I gave it a try and use it a lot.

Mauve C. is a dusty mauve, sheer without sparkle/shimmer, and wonderful scent. I'm NC 15-25 and was matched by Lancome's marketing manager-she used Mauve C. for contour and Aplum for color. We added Rouge Absolu in Lacewood to compete the look. Mauve C. is beautiful.

I never wore blush because I always thought my skin was "red" enough. I just discovered "miel glace (sp?)" and I'm thrilled. I'm fairly fair and this color is just the icing on my face.

If you have red tones I'd choose a color with more browns. Red haired and freckles looks better in browns to me than in pinks or reds.

I have a similar complexion. It depends if you like pinks or bronzes. I like both, depending on the occasion. For something more subtle but that definitely adds great color, I recommend Lancome's miel glace. Online it looks kind of brown but it does not show up like that on skin. I also like Sephora guava glow - which is pretty pink, I only need a little bit. It looks good though!

This product I feel would look amazing on light olive skin. It stays on and it's great as shadow as well. Just a pop of color. You can lay it on dark or just a hit. I've been using it for years.

Personally I love this and when I use blush that has pink hues/tones this is ALL i use. It stays on it, it goes on smooth and consistant unlike some cheaper brands that make you look like you just put clown make-up on. I have med tone and I love. I also love to use it as eye shadow. Works great.
