I wouldn't suggest putting it on with your face completely dry. I wash my face, pat it dry, use my toner and then wait like a minute before putting the mask on, so my face is just barely damp.

Damp, I wash first with neutrogena oil free acne wash and pat dry, but not drying all the way seems to aply best that way. Enjoy

I use it when my face is still slightly damp after patting my face dry and usually after a shower or bath so my pores are open. I don't know if this makes a real difference.

No product can actually minimize the size of your pores. Your pores can be the size because of genetics, and if they have dirt and oil in the them. Products like this that say it will minimize the size of your pores work to remove the dirt and oil to help shrink them down (because they become larger when they have this dirt/oil/blackheads&whitehead) like when you squeeze it and you can see the empty hole, it shrinks back down to "normal" size... HOPE THAT HELPS :)

I must admit I'm bad at using products consistently, so I'm not a good person to ask if this works consistently. However, when I feel like my pores are really congested, I'll exfoliate and then crack this stuff out and I always feel like it helps at least a little. I don't know if it really makes a HUGE difference as far as really getting junk out right away, but it really loosens things up. If I use an extractor (the right way....) or my fingernails (the wrong way.... don't do this!) after the mask to squeeze blackheads out, man, that stuff just comes out like crazy. So, it's doing SOMEthing. I wish I could get my skincare regiment figured out so I could use it more consistently, then I can give you a better answer!

Yes - this worked for me to remove blackheads. When I first used this I was in my early 20s and sophmore year in college. At that time, it did seem to make my skin look brighter - but also made my skin seem oilier and led to more breakouts. I went through one tube and left it at that.
BUT now, in my mid-20s my skin seems to have calmed down quite a bit but I still have an issue with large pores and blackheads. I loved how the mask brightened my skin so I gave it another try and it's my life-saver now that I am trying to get perfect skin for my wedding. Even after the first use I noticed a remarkable difference in smaller pores, less blackheads, and it did not give me a post-mask breakout like the last time I used this. I admit I have also started doing weekly or so blackhead extractions - but I was doing that before using the product and it seems like the combination works wonderfully.
Ultimately it depends on your skin - but for me with tricky combination skin in my mid-20s this works like a charm.

No, I'd say don't waste your money. I definately think you're better off investing in something good, but this isn't it. I even used it regularly for a while and never saw any improvement in my blackheads (which is why I bought it), and it made me breakout a little. The only thing it did was make my skin a little softer. I'd suggest something by Ole Henrickson, Philosophy, Fresh, or Korres, because I find their products are always at least mildly effective in what they say they'll do. Or the DDF sulfur mask which I've heard is great. I find that all of Bliss's products are a waste of money unless they're on a super sale. Oh, if you can, try to get someone to get you a Clairsonic plus for your b-day! It's expensive, but you wont regret it, it's made a huge difference in my blackheads and in how well other products work.

Should I use my normal cleanser BEFORE using the mask?
I use a Murad fash wash for acne everyday and I'm beginning to use Steep Clean once a week at night.
Should I use my regular face wash (which contains sacilyc acis) FIRST and then the mask, or just use the mask in replace of the wash for that one night.
As always I moisturize afterward.

What I'm doing is opting out of the cleanser and replacing the mask with it (it is technically a "cleanser" afterall) and using some the Bliss toner right after followed by the Triple Oxygen moisturizer.

Should the mask dissolve/disappear on your face?
I watched the youtube video by Bliss on how to use this mask and I massage three pumps of the gel into my skin for 1 minute like they said. The mask is creamy and slightly thick after application but I've noticed that it dissolves/disappears over time. Is that supposed to happen?

I've used this twice and it's done the same thing to me, I was shocked b/c it says 'mask' so I was expecting it to dry out, but I assume it has something to do with the exfoliating part...you can't exfoliate your skin if it were to dry out, so it stays moisturized!

Yes, it's normal for the product to change consistency and seem to dissolve some. Remember that you are mixing two separate components together--the yellow and the blue--because they will react to each other, chemically, which is what allows the mask to work like it is fresh and effective. Think of toothpastes that contain stripes of various colors: same idea. So the two colored gels react together, and while they're on your face, they are also affecting your skin and the contents of your pores. The eventual change in consistency, in the course of 15 minutes, is a sign that the mask has been doing its job.

I use this mask pretty much every night after I shower. I think you need to leave it on for at least 15 minutes to really see the beneftis though, so I wouldn't wash it out right away. This mask isn't drying at all and I have somewhat dry skin. You should be good to go to use it everyday. It cleared up my face fast. Hope it works for you too!

I would think that would over-dry you and make your skin worse. I would say to use it 2x a week on really bad weeks and see how your skin reacts. If it's okay with that, try every other day, but only for one week.

No it'd definately be too drying and irritating. I got a sample of AmorePacific's enzyme peel, you can use it everyday and it's awesome! Don't fret the price, it comes in powder form and has lasted much longer than I expected

No, I have a friend who works for Sephora and when I asked her the same question, she said its a little too intense to use daily. 3 times a week max. However, for an extra jolt she recommended using the oxygen mask from Bliss right after using this one.

I was experiencing some acne, and I think my acne was mostly caused by clogged pores. This stuff will clean out your pores really well and it has definitely helped my acne. You should definitely try it out. Use it at least 5 times per week, right when you get out of the shower and your pores have opened up, to see best results!

No way, it made me breakout worse- not to mention did nothing for my blackheads. Try Fresh's clay mask, it's not great for blackheads, but it's good for acne. And if you can, try to get a Clairsonic, it's super expensive, but I haven't regretted the purchase one bit, it's what my skin always needed.

Would this be right for my skin?
I am 14, but have very oily and acne prone skin. I'm looking for a mask that I can use around once a week that isn't too expensive and helps to rejuvinate my skin without making it look "shiny" as well as help my eyes because I have naturally dark circles and seem to always have puffed up eyes. I would try one of the masks from Boscia first, or even a drugstore Clean and Clear one, before I'd recommend this pricey "mask." To me, this product is not so much a mask, but goes on like an overly thick moisturizer that never dries into a mask. If anything, I think this mask would cause more breakouts because it does not seem to be overly skin clearing, pore unclogging, etc. And as far as dark circles, pigmentation or brightness to skin, no, this product is not worth the hype.

However, I have found it is most effecetive when used several times per week (I actually use this 5 times per week). This mask is not drying at all, but it's perfect for me because I have somewhat dry skin. If your skin is oily and you are experiencing acne, I would suggest the ole henriksen blemish attack mask. That mask really is great for oilier skin and definitely helps with pimples. You can also use it as a spot treatment when you go to bed at night. Steep Clean is also a great mask, but to see benefits, I think you'll need to use it multiple times per week, so it might get a bit pricey. It has definitely helped my skin though. I actually use both of these masks. I hope they work for you too!

I haven't had a good experience with this mask. And it is very costly. You might want to try some drug store ones before spending this much money on a so-so product.
As far as your eyes go, masks wont help. It's genetic. Find a good brightening eye cream and/or concealer. Good luck.

I have oily skin, and large pores, and this one-a-week mask has helped me a lot. However, this would not be good to use around your eyes - I would recommend finding a brightening lotion specific for your eyes, probably with caffeine in it. You can also use the Bliss mask that it for energizing the skin that can be used more than once per week.

Honestly I don't know if this would be right for you or not. I've never had really bad acne, but I do tend to have a shininess problem, and I don't think this mask helps with the shiny factor. I've also used this when I was breaking out, and it seemed to be way more effective when used with other products that are for oil/acne-prone skin.
I do know that there are some really great drugstore products out there for oily skin that have helped me a lot and are cheaper.
I have the Steep Clean Moisturizer and the Toner Pads and I absolutely love them and they help me when I'm shiny. There are also some powders out there that you can put on over make-up or alone.
As for the eyes, there are some eye creams that are tinted and that might be the best way to go apart from concealer, but I don't know how much this mask with specifically help that.

A face peel removes dead skin to open pores. This product goes deep in the pore to loosen toxins, then the exfoliation takes place when you remove the product with a facecloth. In a day or so, this product will bring the pore clogs to the surface so they can be removed with cleansing and toning. I use both an exfoliator and the Steep Clean--but never at the same time.

I too have maturing skin. Groovy is glycolic based peel. This is a clarifying mask that uses enzymes to deep clean the skin. You can actually use both.

I don't know anything about the "groovy peel" because I haven't tried it, but I can tell you that I'm not impressed with this product. It seems like an overly heavy mosturizer, rather than a pore/clog clearning mask, and I personally think it'd cause breakouts, not help them!

Steep clean is a mask you can use to help clean out your pores. You can use it several times per week. For me it has helped immensely with some acne I was experiencing. The peeling groovy product is a serum that you put on your face (up to 2 times per day, although I only apply it at night) and leave on and is like a light microdermabrasion product. After the peeling groovy has sunk in after a couple of minutes, you apply your moisturizer and you're all set. Using these two in combination has really helped my skin!
