I really love Too Faced and have thought of investing in their brushes but, i have NOT seen them in peson and would like to know if one'd be acceptable for liquid foundation. Thank you. =]

I wouldn't recommend using any brush for liquid unless it says it can be used for liquid! The brush that comes with this is a powder brush; these brushes are awesome! They are soft & they do not irritate your skin! You won't be disappointed!

I don't have this entire set. However, I have the mini Kabuki brush. Oh boy, I love that brush!!! Yes, it applies make-up extremely well. I assume it works for all these brushes. I would get them if I can afford them. I do wish the prices would come down a bit though. The girl with the video IS wrong. She should have started with something cheaper than jumping into such a set.

I would think that this brush would be perfect for mineral powder. I use it for my bronzing powder and it doesn't pick up too much at any one time so you can really control the depth you want to apply. I love this brush!

I love them. I'm not sure if you're talking about loose eye shadow powders or pressed powders.. I haven't used them with any loose powders, but I can say that the kabuki brush is perfect for my loose foundation powder. But blending is so easy with these. I just reviewed this on the product page, so be sure to check that out. Also, Sephora does have a great return policy if you don't like them!

I really like the eyeshadow brushes in this kit. They pick up the color well. They are easy to control so the color goes right where you apply it. Then they blend the eyeshadow well for a smooth application. Highly recommend.

it picks up color so well! it blends out color perfectly! i love it!!! I've actually thrown other brushes away bc i love these just that much. and they're so super easy to clean. some brushes when i clean them tend to still hold onto makeup within it's bristles but these clean right out.

I love this for liquid foundation and tinted moisturizer due to it's more densely packet bristles. I find that #55 Airbrush is best for creme foundation, and I stick with natural bristles for powder products.

If you have time, go to the store and experiment with different brushes and makeup to find which ones work best w/ you. Usually brands have their own brushes because of their different texture of the makeup. I like Bare Minerals & use their brushes w/ their makeup to get maximum effect. I hope this helps.

I got this tip from watching a video on cleaning brushes from Kandee Johnson (who is totally awesome)
What you do is use Extra Virgin Olive oil, put a small amount on a folded paper towel, take each brush and swirl it around in the oil (you will definitely notice all the pigment coming out onto the paper towel) after you have gotten all the color out of the brush and it looks clean, use a mild baby shampoo (Johnson & Johnson makes a good one) and get the oil out of the brushes with the soap and water. Next lay the brushes out until they dry completely. I use this method now and it works perfectly everytime!!! Hope this helps!

I have been using Purity from Philosophy as my cleanser for a few years, and I make my brush cleaning solution from it. I fill a travel spray bottle with approximately 1/4 or 1/3 Purity. Then, I fill the rest of the bottle with tap water. I clean my brushes at least every other week by spraying them with the solution (shake it to mix first). Then, I rinse them and let them air dry. I have had the same set of brushes for a couple years, and they are still in great shape, so I would say that this solution works very well. Also, you will save money over buying any brand of brush cleaner.

I learned this from an artist friend of mine. Take a plate and put a mixture of one part antibacterial dish soap, one part olive oil in it. Swirl the brushes in it for a few seconds and then swirl the brushes on your hand. Rinse and dry. The soap cleans and disinfects the brushes, the oil conditions it. I recommend this because my friend uses it for her oil paint brushes and it's CHEAP!

I'm not a big fan of sets because I don't always use all the brushes included.. I tend to pick and choose brushes from the sephora IT collection which is love! If it's a great deal and you'll use all the brushes, then go for it.

there's a little 3"x5" mesh zipper case inside, just enough room for your lash curler and eyeshadows..and if your mascara has a short tube then i guess that would fit too. :)

There's a little zipper pocket that you can keep little things like I keep mascara, shadow, liner, bronzer palette and a gloss in the pocket and then I keep my lash curler inside too. So there's a lot of room in there

I haven't used the other type of brushes, but I do know all my Stila brushes are in perfect shape after using them over and over and washing them over and over. The bristles have stayed put and not fallen out like some brushes I have had. I have both travel and regular sizes, and haven't personally had any bad luck with them. What is great is sometimes you get a set, and they'll include a brush in there. Love the double ended brushes, too. They are worth trying!

The brushes are full size and because it comes with the pink pouch and a mesh black bag inside the pouch to hold makeup it's great for throwing into your bag and also great for traveling.
