answer 1
I love Philosphy products, with that being said Any ingredient with "eth" in it's name most like tests positive for 1,4-Dioxane which is a cancer causing petrochemical. The sodium lauryl sulfate is a known skin and eye irritant. Best to find a wash that has neither.

I would not recommend that anyone use any product containing
sulfates on your skin or hair. Sulfates are a foaming agent manufacturers add to their products. They are actually very drying to the skin and hair. I have six month old twins and wash my hands frequently throughout the day and night. Last month I ended up with painfully, cracked fingertips. I learned that it was because of the many soaps containing sulfates. Americans seem to not want to use a soap that doesn't foam well and companies know this. I've looked for sulfate free shampoos, body washes, and hand soaps and they are very hard to find!
