Yes, I use it after washing with a mild cleanser. The package indicates to only use this product 1-2 times per week, leaving 3 days rest between treatments. I think once a week is sufficient for my sensitive skin.

I use this stuff twice a week on a clean face and follow with a nice creamy cleanser and then my moisturizer. It makes my face feel so smooth and silky because it allows my cleanser to better penetrate my skin and absorbs my moisturizer better. I have found that I only need to use it twice a week and the results seem to last through the following couple days. If your skin gets extremely dry or flaky (like mine does in the winter) you could bump it up to three times a week. I have used it that often without any irritation. I would use it often. But its not recommended for every day. Maybe 2 times a week. Its best used at night to help the cell renewal process.

I have used both and Philosophy is WAY better. Dr. Brandt is drying and can sting a little. Philosophy has vitamin C in it, which is anti-aging and brightening. Dr. Brandt doesn't have that.

Not even a comparison. I've used philosophy and was NOT impressed years ago--not even a little. In fact, I didn't even use the whole bottle of the peel. This showed a difference in my skin right away--more than anything else I've tried.

I have tried both and think Brandt's is better. If you have any breakouts this one clears them up fast. I think my skin looks better for hours after as well. Both are great products-why not get a sample next time and try it before buying? That is how I tried it. I thought the salesgirl was exaggerating and I tried a sample. Now, the day I run out I buy more.

I find this one much better. It is just more powerful, less 'scrubbing' because it is harsh, but better results. I would try to score a sample to try!

NOOOOO!!! You can not use this product near your eyes!!! definitly NOT on your eyelids. You "have" to avoid the whole eye area and use it in little circular motions slowly for 1 to 2 minutes and then rinse w/ water.

You should not use this on your eyelids at all. It may be your eye cream is too rich for you. I'd try another eye cream first but never use on your eyelids.

No this should not go on the eyelids. This product would be highly irritating to your skin. If you have white bumps you do not need an exfoliator, you will need to see a dermatologist or perhaps consider changing the products you currently use on the area.

Dr.Brandt Microdermabrasion is to be used on the face but not the area surrounding the eyes, under eye area or eye lid. i think it would be best to not waste your money on this product since it is not ment to be used on the very sensitive eye area since it is a microdermabrasion, which are a bit evasive.

ahh....it is really harsh, so it might irritate your skin. However, it is very chemically powerful, so it could help? Maybe try a sample on a small portion of skin.

I do not have any specific skin conditions, but I do have sensitive skin. I started out using this product every other day and it was too much. Using it just 2x per week does wonders for me.

i do not suggest this for really sensitive skin because you are removing dead skin cells-- which means roughing away skin from your sensitive face. It is a highly gentle exfoliater so if you do want to exfoliate i recommend this over others but i would not do it weekly but rather biweekly and do not rub in hard!

Cleanse your face first thoroughly. Dampen your face w/ luke warm water and then use about a dime size and use slow circular motions all over your face avoiding the eye area for 1 to 2 minutes and then rinse w/ water.

you should use this with just applying it with your fingers to a wet face and gently massage for 1 or 2 minturts and rinse. Your skin feels nice, smooth and radiant.

I use my fingers, usually my pinkie and ring finger as they tend to be gentler.

i would say based on my personal experience, it's pretty effective at making pores less visible.

Of course you can use this on young skin. i cant believe people are trying to tell you otherwise. this is not some peptide formula or an antiaging product. this is simply an exfoliator, and everyone no matter what age should exfoliate.
but it is more important to exfoliate when your older because your skin does not exfoliate naturally as fast as it would when your younger.

and you should order whatever you think your skin needs.for example im 19, 20 in a few months, and after surfing for multiple years all day every day without sunscreen my skin has taken a beating. using dr perricones acel glutathine cream has helped restore my skins natural glow and plumpness.
its meant for older people and can be used as a preventative product, but if your skin has aged early then heck, why not try it. especially from sephora where you can return the product.

I think that depends on your skin's needs. If you have oily/combination or congested skin that would benefit from using it then yes. If you have normal skin that's in good shape, you probably don't need it just yet.

It takes time to work (i.e. a few applications), but this will resurface your skin. It does an excellent job with clearing out pores and fading old scars.

yes its good for ance and uneven skin, it leaves ur skin feeling refreshing.

You get 1.7 ounces. It's kinda pricey and worth every cent. I just factor it into my monthly budget and rationalize it with all the compliments I get on my skin.

you dont get a lot of product, its only like 2 oz. but it lasts! you dont need a lot at ALL and the smell is phenomenal, not remotely medicine-like.
