Try it & use it how it best works for you. If daily is too much, try every other day & so on. For me, I can't skip a day AND I am very dry. If I do, within a couple of days I'm flaking again. It's not just an exfoliator - it balances the skin - whatever your skin type.

I have pretty good skin, and I just use this for extra oomph. I use it about once a week. My skin is slightly on the dry side, and I can't imagine using this daily - I do see immediate results after one use.

Hi - yes this product is meant to be used daily, but some reviewers have reported using it every other day with good results. I don't think this is something you use every day forever. At some point you will have achieved all the exfoliation you can and then you would take a break for months or a year perhaps.

I met Dr. Gross at an event a few weeks ago & his staff did this peel on my skin. I have mild rosacea & Dr. Gross said this is an ideal product for my condition. It has anti aging properties & exfoliators that will improve my skin. After the peel, I was hooked. I usually stay away from anti aging products because most products irritate my sensitive skin. Not these, they work great. My skin is considerably less red and it's only been 2 weeks. I can use the every day.

I was advised by a dermatologist that I had rosacea a couple of years ago. The rosacea perscription cream made things worse. I went on a course of tetracycline and used cortisone cream. Neither an ideal solution.

A local spa began to sell and treat with the MD skincare/Dr Gross line. So I went for a facial peel and was surprised to find my 'rosacea' had calmed down. I purchased the cleanser and pads and aside from few breakouts when I am either very stressed out/hormonal/ or have stopped my regimen for whatever reason I have been using this product and it has not irritated my skin.

The Original Formula is best for those with sensitive skin. I have been using it for years and noticed that my pores are clearer, my skin is brighter and my wrinkles are less noticeable. I look younger! It actually calms and soothes skin, so you can use it around your nose and eyes.

As a user of this product and a lover of its results, I too have sensitive skin. Mine is the cheek and noise area.
I would say try it at least once on the sensitive areas. If this product irritates those areas, discontinue the use of this product on those areas or better yet. Use the product on your sensitive area last, when the pad is almost dry. That way you are not overwhelming your sensitive areas. Instead you are slightly giving them the benefits also. That’s what I do for my cheeks and noise area. They are the last places I use the pad on, when it is getting close to dry. Don’t forget the tops of your hands too. Mine are looking so much better.

i have tried a sample of this and i like it alot but i wanna know if anyone of you have tried Peter Thomas Roth peels is it as good as this or this is better? ( Peter Thomas Roth peels is so cheap compering to this)

I have the PTR unwrinkle pads and just purchased these after trying two samples, these do a little bit better job at giving me a "glow" although I use the PTR ones in the morning as they are a bit less expensive and I use these every other night! Hope that helps :)

I think this stuff is the bomb-diggity. I don't plan on ever straying from this product, and it's use in combination with the Kinerase PhotoFacials Kit has made such an incredible difference in my skin's overall texture and brilliance... Worth every penny!

I use this product daily! You can use it morning or night, but I prefer A.M. because then my skin is glowing and radiant all day. If you want to use at night, apply first then follow with your creams.

Drying out?

I recently purchased the pre-wrapped pads because I feared the jar version would dry out. It sounds like they do sometimes - just wondering, how quickly do they tend to dry out? I am not sure I will be using the peel every day, because with winter weather my skin can get too dried out.

So far, I've had luck by not taking the foil cover off - It's still attached by an inch or so on one side - this and being covered tightly has kept them still very wet!

I do use the pads almost every day, but have never had them become even the slightest bit dry. I was concerned about that too. There is enough extra liquid in the container to keep them moist. Just remember to put the lid on tightly! I love the prewrapped ones for travel.

Actually, Dr. Dennis Gross has a fantastic retinol he recommends you use after this: Ferulic Acid + Retinol Brightening Solution. I highly suggest trying this. There is no sting whatsoever. It literally feels like putting water on my face.

I think it is perfectly safe to use Retinol day and night, used in combination with the Kinerase Photofacials Kit, I have to say it has definitely made a huge difference in my skin's overall appearance, my freckles have definitlely diminished and have no problem using it daily, even though it leaves your face with a little sting at first, your skin will adapt with daily use, I use it both day and night for my daily regimen, and am so thankful that a Sephora Sales Associate came to my rescue when having a horrific breakout... I realize everyone's skin is different, and I normally have combination skin with hormonal breakouts... My skin has never looked better! I am a makeup artist for photographers as well as a self portrait photographer, and I rely on photoshop less then I ever have! I've turned on so many clients and co-workers to the stuff, it's ridiculous!

No cleansing after using the product. The instructions say to just put on an SPF (at least 15) moisturizer if you're using this during the day, or just your night cream if you're using it at night.

Skin gets oilier?

I've used a few samples of this now and while it makes my skin look great right afterward, about 6 or 7 hours later, my face is SO oily it looks wet! My mineral foundation is a slick mess as well. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, does it go away after consistent use? This stuff is just too expensive for me to experiment.

I have noticed that a few hours after applying this treatment that I do have what appears to be oily, sort of sticky skin (I use a foundation make up afterwards). The way that I minimize this is by using an oil free moisturizer after step 2 (one that contains salicyclic acid). This helps in general to keep skin from getting too oily throughout the day. I do not use the md skincare moisturizer afterwards.

I too have very oily skin, but I usually use this at night and do not wake up very oily at all. I use this before disembarking from international flights, and have also not noticed this problem (though the air is much drier in planes, perhaps soaking up any excess oil). I've tried the Philosophy brands and Pat Wexler's, but I really like this the best. You might need to experiment with other brands to try and find your perfect match.

On the instruction sheet that comes with this product, it says, "For maximum results, cleanse, treat, moisturize and protect twice a day." But I use this once a day, in the P.M. and see fine results, and I can't spend $70+ dollars every 2 weeks!! I think you can customize your usage depending on the severity of your skin concerns or your budget.

Use once a day only. In a.m. if you do not experience redness. Also apply a sunscreen when going outside to protect your skin. If you experience redness from the product use at night.
