Question
Best way to apply ?
I am wondering if this tinted moisturizer is best applied with a brush or just good 'ol clean fingers? Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

With your fingers. Luckily, this one isn't too thick and you can use your fingers and get great results.

I like to use my fingers because the warmth from my skin makes the product blend very well into my skin. This product goes on so smooth and sheer that your fingers will work perfectly to apply it.

I just used my fingers and was pretty happy with the results. It blended well with just fingers and wasn't as thin as some foundations are.

Question
Does this product still come in "Dark"
I previously purchased this in Dark and don't see it offered on your site any longer. Is the Med-dark the replacement for this. I like the tan look. If the med-dark is not the same as the old dark, can you suggest a replacement? Thank you. I really loved this product.

Yeah they replaced the Dark with Medium-Dark :( I still buy it but it's not as dark as the Dark one was. They also changed the pump to tube... this company sure knows how to downgrade..

If you are very fair/pale then choose the light. It won't wash you out or make you look ghostly but it is for porcelain skin. If you have a light complexion then go for the light medium. I sometimes cheat and go a shade darker, but I like how the light blends easily into my fair complexion. I can use the light medium, but I have to blend a lot more. You can always use a darker powder or bronzer on top if you need more color.

I would go with the light/medium if I were you, but this product goes on so sheer and blendable that you could probably get away with using light or light/medium.

I use light in the winter and light/med in the summer when I do get more sun- I have both shades in my drawer and when my skin seems to be "shallow" with the light, I step up to medium/light

Question
Cooling sensation ??
Did anyone else experience a cooling sensation from this tinted moisturizer or is it just me? Just wondering because I don't know if this is normal or if it's a reaction that my skin had -- not unpleasant, just unexpected. I checked the ingredients and couldn't find anything that would account for this (mint, etc.) Never tried anything with emu oil, so maybe that's it? -- like the product so far though.

Maybe it's the antioxidants in it, i know sometimes when you try a new product the sensation can be cooling until the skin gets used to the product, so i would say unless the reactiton is really bad don't give up on this product because i think it's amazing.

Question
Acne prone, dry, fair, uneven skin
I was using Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 30 tinted moisturizer in fair to light. I can not find the product anymore, and the company has been less than helpful locating the product in my area. It is NOT discontinued. Now I am searching for a replacement. I liked Aveeno because it did not make my skin break out, which does need any more break outs. What product is a similar one to that? Non-comedogenic, oil free, unscented, derm tested and approved. Is this one good for acne prone, fair, and dry skin?

i would suggest going into a sephora store if possible. they can let you sample as many tinted moisturizers are you like before making a purchase. if you so make the purchase and find that it does not suit you well you can always return it. that is the great thing about sephora!

I've had acne prone skin and this product hasn't clogged my pores. See if the store will let you return it if it doesn't work for you.

Question
Light/Medium versus Medium
i am asian and have darker skin because i'm out in the sun a lot, but in the winter i get somewhat lighter. I can't decide between light/medium vs medium...any recommendations? how much of a difference are the two?
thanks

I am asian and light skin, i can use either light or light/medium depending on what powder I use on top of the moisturizer. I am lighter now since it's winter and I am actually using light/medium and dusting bobbi brown sheer powder in soft sand over it. So I think you might be better off using medium since you said you are darker skin.

i am a light to medium skin toned asian and i am NOT tan but the medium works for me. i would say if you are really tan, it may be too light for you. i got color matched at the store.

Question

This is not greasy at all. In fact, I use an additional light moisturizer under it because my skin tends to be dry in certain spots. I love the color so much that I don't mind the additional product. This foundation is not masky or chalky like some others with sunscreen.

It doesn't make your skin look or feel greasy, but it wouldn't hurt to carry a few oil-sheets around with you! The product is actually pretty moisturizing and makes skin look almost flawless. It provides light/medium coverage with one layer, BUT you can up the coverage by using another layer on top. I really recommend this product(:
