Yes, it is even recommended on the label to do so. AND ... it ROCKS as an undereye/night cream.

It says you can apply it under the eye and then apply your normal eye cream over it. So, Pure Perfection must act as a primer for your normal eye cream I would assume. I used it under my eyes and it's been fine- no irritation.

Yes, you can use this around your eye. On the back of the jar, it says that it's safe to do so.

Even though it has moisturizers, I find it too harsh for every night use. It has the heavy moisture to counter balance the acids. I can actually feel a bit of a tingle when I apply it. I have normal to dry skin--dry in the winter.

Question
Too Young?
I'm 20 years old and looking for an anti-aging night cream as more of a preventative measure rather than to actually get rid of wrinkles. Since this product supposedly firms skin and gets rid of wrinkles, do you think it would be okay for me to use it? I know some products that claim to do this are actually bad for young skin.

I'm 26 - started using this at 25 - and am currently wrinkle free. I think this is a great product if you have dry skin, and if you are prone to buildup that can clog pores. I get facials a few times per year, and the esthetician often recommends glycolic or lactic acid to help remove the buildup of dead skin without irritating with scrubby products. I have found this to be a great product for my young skin - but judge for yourself if you have the kind of skin that would work well with glycolic acid.

Hi, I'm 20 and never was looking for this...just got it as a sample and loved it so I had to buy the full thing. I never knew my skin could look so good. My skin got nice and firm, smooth, less pores...honestly everything you could want! Just beware that it is very moisturizing/intensive and is good for dry skin so if you are acne-prone you may want to carefully consider.

Yes, I think it would be good for your skin. I don't see how this could hurt young skin like yours since it seems to work in a very gentle way. Also, it doesn't have all those noxious chemicals in it so your are not adding anything bad to your bloodstream unnecessarily. When you first put it on it feels greasy, but then somehow it just sinks in and you are left with soft, smooth skin that feels clean. I have a problem with build up in my pores, and this product seems to actually help with that.

When I bought this cream and tried it for the first time I noticed that the top 1/2 inch or so was very rubbery and dry.. I tried to spread it on but it was difficult and it flaked off a minute after.. when I dug inside that leathery/ rubbery layer I found a more softer creamier consistency.. I noticed that the cap was not very tightly sealed when I bought it so I thought it dried out.. it did have rotten milk smell too..
I ended up exchanging it and the cream in the new jar was nice and fluffy... so you might have got a bad jar like the one I got the first time..

The texture of my creme is very thick and somewhat sticky and it does not absorb well on my skin, but I have not noticed a waxiness. I do not like the texture of this creme at all.

With my personal experience, I feel that this cream may be too thick and intense to use as a DAY moisturizer, but that doesn't mean it may not work as a DAY moisturizer for someone else. The sheer transformation works pretty well for me during the day and under makeup.

The Herbal Day Cream is a good daytime moisturizer. Great for all types of skin, highly hydrating and it has an SPF to it.

Animal Testing
Hi,

I received a sample of this product the last time I placed an online Sephora order and LOVED it. I would like to purchase it but I cannot use anything that has been tested on animals. If anyone can honestly answer that I would greatly appreciate it.

This is from his website: "cruelty-free My approach to beauty is strictly pure, natural and cruelty-free. Animals, like humans, are to be loved, not tortured.".

p.s. I boycott many brands, due to their unwillingness of not harming animals.

I don't see why not - but i'm not a doctor. it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Petro-Chemicals
- Phthalates

which I think would be a good thing. ask to try a sample first tho, maybe. see how your skin reacts to it - gets the tingles or not. if it gets the tingles, your skin may be too sensitive to use this product.
