I used to have acne pretty regularly until I used this regularly. Now I rarely have one if any! Highly reccommend it but be sure to give your skin an opportunity to get into the routine of using it

i have the same problem.. and as long as i keep up my regiment of washing twice a day my break outs disappeared

I LOVE this product, but I believe the representative with whom you spoke is incorrect. I have oily, sensitive skin and rosacea. The Aloe Vera cleanser should NOT break you out. Either way, you cannot go wrong with Ole Henriksen!

I have tried the green one (aloe) its good on breakouts and oily skin and its def not harsh at all so is this one ( good for oily skin not so much acne) depends on how often you break out, If you break out alot try the green one (aloe) It worked great for me and lasted me a long time as well.

This has helped clear my acne very effectively. It's gentle but manages to get the job done without being harsh or over drying...it's also helped to take away red capillaries around my nose. My skin looks even toned and fresh after each use!

This is a good everyday cleanser but if you are looking for something more powerful for your acne, I would try Peter Thomas Roth cleaner made for acne prone skin (such as the Beta Hydroxy Acid cleanser). I would use this at night maybe for a few days (3-4). If you use it for a prolonged time, it can dry out your skin. And for the day time, you can use the Aloe Vera Cleanser which would be gentler for your skin. If you use the On the Go, your skin may be irritated by the Vitamin C in it. Always follow up with a toner (I use one by Ole) and a sheer, light weight oil free moisturizer. I hope this helps :)

I think you should give it a try! I agree w/ the rep about the green aloe version...I tried it about a year ago and it was too much for my face (it also kind of smelled yucky), but I really love this product.

Its definitely a deep cleanser but is not as harsh as a lot of acne cleansers. It might be worth a try.

I purchased seven wonders set which included the african red tea foam thing months ago and am just running out of the products. I was curious about this cleanser not having been included in the set so asked for a sample at my local sephora and was totally happy with the results. The foaming face wash leaves my face with a feeling of having to clean it some more. I was happy with this product and am currently waiting for eligible days of my coupon to go get it along with everything else on my shopping list.

I used on the go cleanser and loved it, then I wanted something even more moisturizing for the winter, so I ended up with african red tea one. I got it in december and still have some left I use only 1 cleanser twice a day. they both last so long! but with african red tea one I feel the need to wash rinse and rinse my eyes... it makes overall skin feel so smooth, amazing, but this eye irritation- can't wait for it to finish and I will go back to the on the go cleanser. for the cloged pores try additional stuff- I like exfolikate or even benzol peroxide cleanser/mask by neutrogena, but this cleanser won't leave your skin feeling dirty or leave make-up and mascara.

I have tried both and never even finished my Red Tea, went right back to this one (3rd bottle) I keep trying others and keep coming back to this product

Try Boscia's 'Purifying Cleansing Gel.' It's great! Better than Ole's 'On the Go Cleanser' any day.

I wouldn't recommend this to extract dirt from pores... or that Dr. Brandt cooling mask. Both didn't do anything. If your pores are very clogged you should go and get a facial and ask for extractions to be done but very gently.

I have been using the Ole line for about 3 or so years now and your skin sounds a lot like mine before I started using this. The biggest complaint I've heard is that people feel like it cant be working cause it feels so light and gentle... but don't be fooled by the absence of burning! This line has transformed my skin. People notice the glow that the concentrated amounts of vitamin C in there product provide and the evenness of my skin. I notice the fact that my face skin doesn't feel rough and that the pores on my checks that use to keep me for going out i public 'naked' faced are gone! Thank goodness! So I personally use the 'On The Go Cleanser' for my face wash the '3 Little Wonders' for skin care and maintenance and the 'Pick Me Up Face Tonic' for a toner. The loads of vitamin C in these products will boost the collagen in your skin and help the aftermath of your blemishes heal faster and each product will help to make your skin feel softer and look more even, plus help prevent future breakouts and the impending doom of wrinkles. As a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician i recommend this to my clients over products sold in most salons and spas. I hope that helps.

I have had mild acne for most of my adult life and haven't experienced a breakout since using this cleanser (the past six weeks). HOWEVER, I started using the Clarisonic Mia at the same time as beginning using this product, so I can't say for sure whether that should be attributed to the cleanser or the device! I do think it's worth a try though.

Yes this product worked great for clearing up my skin! I had moderate acne and also hated the medicated cleansers. Sometimes a product will make me break out when I first started using it; I did not have that happen with this product! Highly recommend!

I have somewhat sensitive skin and found this product to be gentle, particularly for a gel cleanser. However, if your skin is extremely sensitive, you may want to look for something creamier, as gel cleansers are better suited to oily/combo skin types.

Yes, the same thing happens to me and after I stopped using it the redness went away. This product will irritate your skin because of the vitamin c being the main ingredient.

Yes it will. My skin can be pretty sensitive but it can usually handle a lot, and after washing my face with this cleanser it feels tight, dry, and a little bit itchy. i woudlnt reccommend this for you.

I've been using this with Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Complexion Correction and it seems to be helping with my redness, it has been only about 3 weeks now and it does seem to help, I've also been using the Laura Mercier pressed powder and that does a better job at giving the illusion of perfect skin better than any other makeup I've ever tried - hope this helps!

I don't believe this will lighten dark marks caused by acne. You need to get an ointment that contains hydroquinone in it. If you are sensitive to hydroquinone, they make some treatments that don't have this ingredient however it takes a bit longer for you to see results. DDF and Peter Thomas Roth makes some great ones. You would spot treat the dark marks at night and follow up with suncreen the following morning after completing your washing routine (wash, tone, moisturize, then sunscreen).

I don't think the cleanser itself helped with any scarring, but Ole Henrikson's Truth Serum definitely did.

I just use this as a cleanser. If you are wanting to get rid of pigment spot I would go with OleHendriksen invigorating night gel or Philosophy microdelivery mini peel pads. Right now I'm using the OleHendricksen, but the philosophy might be a little stronger, but also leaves a sticky, yet moisturized and balanced feeling after use. I use the OleHendriksen when I feel more oily and acne prone and the philosophy if I feel dry damaged. I also love OleHendriksen Sheer Transformation. It is amazing. Smells like peas, but does miracles.

They are pretty comparable. I would say that the Vit-C is a little gentler/ less drying and the scent is different.

it does not dry up your skin. it is good for all skin types and even better on sensitive skin. i get the same brightness and its is way cheap and you dont need alot. also, it does not make you sensitive to the sun. for me, its helps with my acne spot and i dont have any new break out

Murad has nothing on ole henricksen. murad left my skin feeling oily.

I recommend Boscia's 'Purifying Cleansing Gel.' It is not as drying and makes my skin feel better. Hope this helps.
