Question
Does this product contain glycerin?
I am allergic to glycerin and all it's forms, i.e., glyceryl stearate, glycerine. Before I buy this product, i'd like to know if it contains any form of glycerin. The sephora website, nor the ole henriksen website states the full list of ingredients. Note: glycol is not the same as glycerin. thanks!

I also have dry flaky skin and it does help. It seems too light to help when you feel it but it works better than some of the thicker heavy creams I have tried.

Question
Oil free?
I started using Ole Henriksen's "Nurture Me" moisturizer about a month ago. I'm finding that my pores are clogging however I also just came off of an antibiotic for my skin. Is this product oil free, or non-pore clogging? Not sure if it's me or the product. Otherwise I love the level of moisture it gives...not too little or too much.

The 2nd ingredient is sunflower seed oil so it's definitely NOT oil free... There are several other oils listed as well (evening primrose, wheat germ oil, etc.), however, I believe - not 100% positive - that all of them are natural.

I would suggest you stop using this cream, as I also found it far too rich and pore-clogging. Switch to Shiseido Benefiance line, which has great hydrating properties without making you break out, and don't continue to use a product that worsens your skin.

Question
Which Ole Henriksen Moisturizer to Use?
I tried a sample of Sheer Transformation and loved the way it reduced redness at night, but not quite enough moisture for night time. I have sensitive skin and just wondering what is the best formula for night and what is the best one for day? What about Pure Perfection or Nurture Me? Has anyone used all of these?????? There are too many to choose from................

Any of the creams that have Vitamin A or retinol derivitive are meant to be used at night because sunlight and retinol do not mix!! It could be damaging to your skin.

I've tried Sheer Transformation, Nurture Me and Pure Perfection. It's sounds like you have dry skin like me. I've tried pretty much ALL of Ole Henriksen's night creams and Pure Perfection was the best for me. It completely hydrated my skin, reduces fine lines (I have very fine smile lines) and it helps with break outs. I also think it's helping my tone. I pair the Invigoration Night Gel with Pure Perfection instead of Sheer Transformation and it's an awsome combo. I like Sheer Transformation for day, but it didn't moisture enough for night. I'm currently using Nuture Me and I might make that my regular day cream instead of Sheer Transformation (BTW All of the day creams with SPF left a white residue) but I'm still on the fence. FYI Nuture Me is made with people with Roscea and sensitive skin in mind...I hope this helps!

I have never tried sheer Transformation, but my two fav products from Ole are Truth Serum which I use every night after I wash my face, then I put on Nurture Me Moisturizer. I have basically every kind of skin type imaginable-sensitive, oily, and combination!! so I thought these two together may be too moistuizing but it is not! My skin glows!!! Sure I have a rare break out every now and then but for the most part I am very happy with the results that I get from this combination. I noticed that you mentioned your skin is red, now I used to get blotchy skin and redness, my dermatologist suggested and I am just suggesting this for you everyone is different but you may want to consider not washing your face in the morning. When you think about it when you wash it at night you take everything off there is really no need to wash in the a.m. she told me it takes alot of the good oils on your skin off, I have only been washing my skin at night for the last maybe 3 or 4 years and it improved my skin greatly! What I do do in the a.m. is just spritz my skin with some cool water or Philosipy's Hope Eternal face spray that too is amazing. Good luck!!!

Question
Has this been reformulated?
The packaging is a little different, the color is a bit darker, it's thicker, not as creamy, and the scent is off a bit. I purchased one online then exchanged it in the store, and had to exchange the second one because I thought they were bad...but perhaps it has just been reformulated?

I use this on my mother every day as she had a Brain Anuerismim and was in a coma for almost 2 months and has recently woken up it has a wonderful smell and works great for her. Hospitals are typically extremely dry and her skin looks amazing. It absorbs fairly quickly and has a beautiful smell. I have not had any bad expieriences with this product. Maybe it has been reformulated but I would recommend giving it another try!

As Nurture Me is a natural based product with vitamin c, the color, texture and scent may vary slightly from jar to jar but the formula itself has not changed.

The item should smell citrusy, and the color of your most recent jar is consistent with how the product should look, keeping in mind there may be some variation in the color, texture and scent from jar to jar.

The texture and color of the jar you linked was also homogenous, so this also indicates that the product is fresh and not separated, etc.

Question
Very dry facial skin with visible broken capillaries
I am looking for a moisturizer for my very dry skin. I have areas with broken capillaries and have been looking for something to repair and diminish them from view. I have read that Vitamin K is beneficial in this area and am hoping this product will be the answer in which I have been searching. Please let me know if this product will help me with my problem specifically.

My skin is combination so not sure I can answer that question, however, re: broken capillaires I can. I have had rosacea since my teens and I am now 43, I find it reduces the redness of my skin. The only way to actually get rid of the already broken capillaries is to get laser treatment. I have this done once a year, or once every 2 years and I now have no broken capillaries and therefore the redness has disappeared. The laser treatment also helps build collagen. So doing laser treatments for rosacea (called IPL treatments) and using this cream should solve your problem. It has mine.
