Night only, honestly its a bit tacky when you put it on (similar to a mask) and I do have to wash it off in the am so I would not recommend putting in on in the morning and then trying to put things over it.

Not really... Its made for night. Try to combine with RETINOL or another treatment for the day. Of course it wont harm you to use during the day, but it s designed for while your body sleeps for cellular repair.

I would not use it for daytime. The gel is meant to dry overnight and it becomes somewhat flaky. I have to wash my face when I wake up. I can't imagine wearing makeup over this. It's really meant for overnight use.

I really do not suggest it because it is meant to use it in the night, when you're skins reproducing system is active. It works with you're skin when you're skin start to re-create cells.

I would not use it more than nightly. I feel that it is way to drying to even use it nightly for those with hydration problems. However, If you are the oily type, then using it nightly should be enough. Remember it does have fruit acids in it that promote exfoliation, and too much exfoliation is not good for your face. You will get better results using it less often. Good Luck!

The Invigorating Night Gel completely cleared up my deep, painful cysts that I would get on my jaw line "once a month." Definitely worth trying... I stumbled upon this product in Sephora and I am so thankful I did. I'm loving the results even after only one week.

It helped me! It seems the only reason why I get breakouts is because of hormones and this helped keep my skin clear AND it REALLY minimized the pimples I already had in just one night. It really does all that it says. Just make sure you use it with a moisturizer as suggested. :)

You could atleast try it. I have been using the whole acne/blemish prone starter kit, and this is by far the best acne fighting product in it. I love it. It should be marketed as an all around miracle worker. My skin is less inflamed and my acne is almost gone in a matter of 5 days.

Invigorating Night Gel. Definitely a fantastic, anti-aging product to get rid of any breakouts, or random pimples that pop up. It's all-natural, certainly worth trying. Hasn't dried me out one bit. I love this product and use it every night. It's the only thing I put on my face at night, followed by a light SPF moisturizer in the morning.

I would assume that you could use this during your pregnancy but I'm honestly not 100% sure. I would call customer service (Sephora or Ole Henriksen) or ask your doctor. In regards to if this product would help your skin that is an definite yes!!! I too have dry (and itchy) skin and this product has helped keep my skin clear and controls the breakouts I get from the heat. You're supposed to use this with another moisturizer so make sure the gel is absored in your skin well (about 5 mins) first. I think you'll be happy with this product!

At night, start with the Truth Serum, then the night gel, and finish with the Sheer Transformation. During the day, Truth Serum first, then Sheer Transformation. You can even skip the serum at night, and just do the gel and cream. That works just as great :)

a.m. - cleanse and tone as usual, apply a pump or two of the truth serum, then use the sheer transformation cream. if you use an eye cream, it can be applied last.

p.m. - cleanse and tone, apply eye cream if you use, apply a sheer layer of the invigorating night gel, and use the sheer transformation cream last.

hope this helps!

Hi breezy78. Suggested usage:
AM - Apply Truth Serum evenly to cleansed skin and follow with a thin layer of Sheer Transformation. Don't forget to use SPF if you will be in the sun.

PM - Apply a thin layer of Invigorating Night gel to cleansed skin and follow with Sheer Transformation.

answer 3
Yes, this is normal as it contains fruit acids which are actually eating away the desmesomes that hold on to the epidermis (dead skin on surface) It should go away after about 10 minutes. If this does not go away after about 10 minutes, then you should consider using this product less often (2-3 times week) instead of the suggested nightly use. I feel that this product will give you great results when you first use it, but then after about a week, may show signs of over exfoliating which will then dehydrate you and give your skin a dehydrated less plump look to the apperance. If you are Oily type, then nightly may be okay. Otherwise, use less often if you begin showing signs of dehydration.

Definitely. It has taken away my breakouts around my nose and chin. I have super sensitive skin and it has diminished my fine lines, taken away skin tags, taken away dark spots and leaves my skin like a baby. Use the Sheer Transformation moisturizer over it...it is very light.

Yes! I use this product to help keep my oily, acne-prone skin clear after I've worked so hard to clear it up. I have had no problems at all in terms of oiliness. If anything, it tends to dry out and tighten my skin so it might work best for oily skin.

Yes, and I'm positive I read either on the packaging, on this site, or on the Ole site that it can be worn under a moisturizer, and sheer transformation (also by Ole) was recommended. I've had good results with the combo and I've also layered it beneath Pure Perfection and had phenomenal results. Good luck!

yes, definitely. Don't use another product containing retinol, a retinoid, or an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), though, or it might be too much active ingredient. This has plenty of glycolic acid to do the trick! Ole Henriksen recommends pairing this with Sheer Transformation moisturizer for extra hydration.

Yes, it is supposed to sting a little at first. After a few minutes the stinging subsides - any exfoliating acid like lactic acid (which is the main ingredient of this product) will sting for a little while - the more acid or higher intensity of a product, the more the stinging sensation will increase.

I have experienced a light stinging sensation just after pal lying it on days that my skin is extra sensitive or irritated because I did other at home treatments or exfoliating in the same day. The sensation goes away after just a little bit. Perhaps your Mom's skin is just slightly too sensitive to one or more of the ingredients. I find the product super active so if I do a peel or something like it, I'll skip the gel for one night and use a more moisturizing night product like the pure perfection night cream. Good luck!

Has she been using any harsh exfoliating products? Does she have any kind of allergy or skin sensitivity? Sometimes my skin does sting if I've been overwashing and if my sinusitis is super flared up. If your mom is not used to AHAs then it could also sting for that reason.

It may sting a bit due to the acids in the AHA complex, which is what makes it effective. So that's normal. If it really stings a lot, you might want to use less, use extra moisturizer, or find a gentler product. Or skip/ease up on the toner, esp. if you use toner in the morning.
