I use my Ole Henriksen Face Tonic twice a day and - based on the amount of produce I've used in one month - it looks like the 12 ounce bottle is going to last for 6-7+ months.

I have major t-zone oiliness. Unfortunately, this product did not help with that. However it does feel refreshing for an hour or two. Hope this helps

I saw a difference in my skin texture after two weeks. I am combination/oily but this has made it less oily. I also saw a drastic change in my acne after one month. I use it every morning and night, but I also think it's really important to go through as many cotton balls until you no longer see any dirt.

When I started using Ole Henriksen's skin care line, I bought the starter kit. It was a 30 day supply. I noticed a difference about 2-3 weeks into it, after using the products consistently.

I saw a difference the next morning after just using it one night. The redness of my breakout had gone down and my pores were smaller. After one week, I was hooked! I've been using it for 2 months and my skin now looks flawless!

Remember keratinocytes (skin cells) renew about every month. So give it about 2 to 3 months, in 3 months you should definitely see the difference. I have incorporated the cleanser too as well and it leaves your skin refreshed with a nice glow (healthy, not oily) shin.

I am usually able to tell within two weeks if a product is going to take with my skin; although I will often allow for a 1-2 month trial period, just incase I need more time to adjust to the product. My initial reaction is very quick and if a product is going to be effective it is obvious right away.

Question
Texture of the toner
My friend recently purchased this toner n she's only used it once but says the toner feels sticky... She is not sure whether it is not compatible with her skin type or if it's just the texture of the product. Does this happen to everyone else who use the product??

I feel a little sticky too, but after you wait maybe a minute or 2 and pass the other product (whatever you use, sunscreen or serum..)it feels fine.
...and I have a VERY oily skin. My skin is much brighter and no break outs anymore, I use 2 a day.

Thanks for your question! now I know that I am not the only one. The product is VERY sticky on my skin as well even after an hour or two of usage. I use it exactly as the product recommends and apply this after I wash my face and it is STILL sticky. I just use this at night when I dont care about it being sticky but surely a no-no for me during the day.

This item contains alcohol. The bottle does not include this in the ingredients list but the box it comes in does. Dont use it!

Question
alcohol or not?!
I intentionally went to sephora to get an alcohol free toner as I am weening myself off of the clinique one with alcohol. I thought this one was it but on the box there is no alcohol listed but here on the site alcohol is listed! Help! Does it in fact include alcohol?:( Any suggestions for toners that do not contain alcohol? Thank you!

I'm looking at my bottle of Ole Henriksen Face Tonic right now and it doesn't list any alcohol. The incredients are camphor, lactic acid, azulene, comfrey and goldenseal.

I LOVE this product. My skin always feels clean and fresh and never, ever tight. I am over 50 so would never use anything drying to my skin. This product makes my skin feel clean but never, ever dries my skin out. I really believe you will love this product.

Your Sephora Sales Associate will likely provide you with a sample if you are near a store. If not, I honestly believe you will love this product if you order online for delivery.

I didn't realize it had alcohol. I don't like alcohol in my products either. But if it helps, I have very dry skin and I use it and it doesn't dry my skin out.

I don't know, but I'm advised by my dermatologist not to use any toners with alcohol because my skin is very sensitive. I've been using this and am almost finished with the bottle. It has really helped with my skin and it's been gentle too. I know Sephora will give you a weeks worth sample to try out, that's how I did it.

I'm looking at my bottle right now and it is 12 oz for $30 - and worth every penny. I use Shiseido cotton squares - which are the best for distributing the product. Some cotton squares just soak up the product without depositing on my skin. I've found the Shiseido squares with this tonic to be the perfect match. Both are a wee bit pricey, but I feel like they're really worth it - and I am a very budget conscious person.

I've used my Ole Henriksen tonic twice a day for over a month and I've used up about 1" of product from the fill line of the bottle. I think it looks like this 12 ounce bottle will last for another 6+ months.

I've never used a better facial tonic than this one. Smells very light and fresh and clean. Perfect final step after cleansing and before applying moisturizer. Also perfect for a swipe with a cotton square after a workout or just in the middle of the day to freshen and feel clean.

Ole Henriksen recently changed the packaging from the flip top 12oz one in the picture ($30) to a spritz bottle of 7oz ($21 in the store) for most of their toners. I don't know if they have switched the Grease Relief over yet.
