I like fresh start better. Visual truth is good, but I think it's more about diffusing light so that you don't see dark circles vs really hydrating the area so that skin is flexible and doesn't wrinkle as easily.

I would absolutely recommend this eye cream to you. I am 29 and I have noticed much smoother hydrated skin around my eye area.

I'm 29 and also started having some fine lines under my eyes...I'm definitely impressed with Fresh Start Eye Creme. I was really hesitant to try it and am the type to only use a product if it works within two weeks and this definitely did.

yes, this would be very appropriate for you! i've been using for two weeks, am 32, have dry skin with the same fine lines as you described, and this has erased them completely. an added bonus is that very little goes a long way.

I don't think you would really benefit from this product, at 13 years old. Starting now (and hopefully you have already been doing this) is staying away from tabacco and alcohol or any chemical harmful to your body. Staying hydrated. Drinking a lot of water and SUN SCREEN, SUN SCREEN, SUN SCREEN. I wish at 13 I had known the importance of wearing an SPF every single day, everytime I left the house, even if it was to go shopping. On rainy days; in the winter time; and especially on days when I would be in the sun. The MOST amount of aging is caused by the sun, not only wrinkles but hyper pigmentation. Sun spots and freckles. At 30, I already have signs of it and do not burn in the sun. It's better late than never but if you make proper skin protection a part of your skin regimen...using minimum moisturizers with SPF to Sunblock (I reccomend physical vs. chemical sun block ingredients since they are natural .) Look for Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide. Stay out of the sun when possible and when in the sun, make sure to pile on the SPF. Your skin will thank you, 15 years later, 25, 30,45,65, years later.

I guess it couldn't hurt but it may be too moisturizing for your young skin. If you are really concerned about preventing wrinkles at your young age, the best wrinkle prevention for your skin (and anyone's skin, for that matter) is sunscreen! Find one that is non-irritating with a broad-spectrum SPF of at least 30 and use it everyday.

Hey ! I haven't found it to be a magic brightening solution, but it definitely preps my eyes (hydrating) for concealer, without any creasing. I haven't had any dry patches whatsoever, which I have found in other products. I pat this product, after my Truth Serum, under my eyes, up to my brow bone, and out to my temple.

It will definitely help with any dryness and fine lines around your eyes - I've been using this for the past year and absolutely love it. I also have dark circles and from the research I've done there are a number of factors that can cause them and for some of these factors a topical treatment won't necessarily help, so you might just want to try it to see if it works for you. I use this in the mornings (and at night) and let it absorb before putting on concealer.

I had dry-ish under eyes and a few fine lines. My dark circles weren't bad but I can say that at least for me this eye cream is perfectly hydrating and has reduced my fine lines while brightening my under eye area.

For me it did! I don't have severe dark circles, but enough that I saw a difference the first day I used this cream. I'm just starting to get a little crapey-ness under my eye and this completely took care of that, no more lines, no more discoloration, and the skin is plump and hydrated. I love this cream more than any other's I've tried.

I've never gotten it in my eye, and I often apply it very close to the eye, so my finger is touching my eyelashes. It has a very very thick consistency, like margarine, so it won't move around much.

I think if you applied too much it may 'wick' into your eyes - but that is with anything. Very small amounts dabbed on the lids and under/around your eye. It is very soothing, refreshing and works fabulously. I have extremely sensitive skin around the eyes - and I love it.

Question
Has this product been reformulated?
I just bought my second jar of the fresh start eye cream and was surprised to see a big difference in color and texture of the product...Where my first jar was of medium consistency and a bluish gray tint. The second jar was bisque colored and a heavy almost like clay consistency....? Anyone else notice this?

UPDATE: I just bought a jar of this in Feb 2009 and it HAS been reformulated! I'm so bummed - it is now sort of dry/cakey and clay-like and not smooth at all. Like rubbing dry paste or soft wax onto your face.

Question
eye creams in general
I'm still in my early 20's but I tend to get dark circles under my eyes, and it looks like the skin is almost depressed-the exact opposite of being puffy. Does anyone know of an eye cream that will help this condition, or will eye creams that help shadows also help to rejuvenate the skin under my eyes?

This product doesn't really help dark circles. to be honest 99% of products (that are affordable) won't help this affliction. go to a holistic store (not gnc) and pick up some pure vitamen e oil, or even almond oil and put that on at night. I've also heard that cold green tea bags will work. i don't have this dark circles, but i do have sensitive skin and found that most of the advice on planetgreen.com works for me, so check out that site.

I use it around the entire eye area (including lids) without problems. It's one of the only eye creams that has yet to irritate my sensitive skin/eyes. It does make the lids slightly greasy though, so you only need a tiny bit!
