I have brown/pink pigmented lips. On me the Strawberry Lip Balm shows very sheer with no color. If applied with a heavy hand you can get a glossy effect but still no color.

Depends on what you like. The strawberry taste is probably a more common loved taste (as it does taste like natural strawberries) but the rosebud is definitely flowery. It has distinct scent of heavy-duty roses, but it's a great moisturizer. All the RoseBud Co products are great for moisturizing.

Rosebud (more hydrated than Strawberry to me)

I bought the Rosebud first, then wanted to try Strawberry unfortunately turns out it only smells good but too dry for me, so I returned it and exchanged to Rosebud (it's still the best)

Well now I have one half used and one brand new Rosebud!!! :P

I prefer the Rosebud, over the strawberry. I like the slip of the original (and the minted & brambleberry) over the waxiness, hardness of the strawberry. It is harder and you have to sort of melt with your finger to remove from tin, unlike the other Rosebud salves. Don't get me wrong, I do like it, just prefer the original over all.

It depends. Strawberry, IF your lips don't need a lot of moisture or you don't like the scent of Rosebud. I prefer Rosebud, because I like the constant feel of balm on my lips, and I don't have anything against the Rosebud scent. I've tried all the balms and Strawberry is a short second to Rosebud. It doesn't moisturize nearly as well.

Im not exactly sure ...
but i have purchased the product myself and i am reading the ingredients and it says ...

Petrolatum, vilvanolin, Natural white beeswax, a trade secret blend of strawberry flavour, natural and artifical dye.

Im not sure if that helps . But im gonna guess that it is the Beeswax that works as a moisturizers. And i personally can say that it does because i love this product. And have really liked the quality !

The minted rose moisturizes better, this is only because the strawberry is a little bit firmer in consistency. Although the strawberry does moisturize also. The minted rose does create a very tiny tingle on your lips though, so if you dislike that go for the strawberry.

This lip balm is a really good value for its price. It makes my dry lips feel moist, a bit velvety and the strawberry scent is delicious. It does have a long-lasting time - you may need to apply it 2-3 times a day for maximum effect, though. I really recommend this, as I've used much more expensive lip balms that don't work as well as this one.

I've tried all the lip treatments you've mentioned plus many more expensive ones, and believe me, this one works MUCH better. It glides on smooth and feels very soft. It hydrates and soothes dry, chapped and even cracked lips for 2-3 hours, which is not quite all day, but it's much longer than most balms. Plus, even after 2-3 hours when the balm sinks into your lips, they feel smoother and softer than they did before. Considering that you get a big tin of this for only $7, it's definitely worth it! I highly recommend you give it a try. I hope this helps you! :)

Use the top of your nail to lift off a pinch of balm to place on your lip then use the ball of your fingertip to smooth it out. Otherwise a lipstick brush, Q-Tip, or some other small spatula-like tool will also work to scoop up enough balm for your lips.
