Not at all! I can see crossnotes between the two, but they both take you on very different journeys!

White tea is a very clean, deep smell. It's spicy, fresh, and smells somewhat like burberry brit without the vanilla aspect. The white tea really pulls it all together and gives it a very indulging and mind clearing scent. Has an almost unisex feel to it without being masculine at all. Very unique fragrance!

Light blue is clean as well, but in a totally different way. It's very beachy. You get the spicyness and the fresh, clean scent you get from white but with more! Light vanilla undertones, semi coconut (but not a sweet coconut) and lime. Still clean, but definately a mental vacation. It's wonderful, too.

Both of these fragrances are part of my favorites collection. Either could be an everyday scent or worn for a night on the town. I recommend both.

I don't feel like it smells like Dolce & Gabbana light blue. Light blue smells a bit sweeter and is a bit stronger in my opinion.

Never tried Light Blue so can't compare. Eau The Blanc makes a good first impression on people. Compliments every time I wear. But it is light and soft and not flowery at all - but not spicy either. I think it is a romantic fragrance.

Call the Spa at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. Last time I was there they had HUGE bottles of both shampoo and conditioner.

I know this question is old but in case you're still wondering or if anyone else has the same question I thought I'd give you my experience.

I was interested in this scent for that exact same reason, I'm in love with the Weston shampoo/conditioner! Unfortunately I don't think this smells anything like the Weston scent, however recently I did find something comparable, I recommend trying Elizabeth Arden- Green Tea!

I hate cologne on men and or woman but would highly recommend this! it's a really light and summery scent. It does not overtake your nose but makes you want to get closer and take it in! I love it! I know a couple of the Four Seasons use it in their hotels so if you find yourself at the LA Four Seasons that is a good place to sample.

Similar to “Light Blue” you ask…. I see exactly where you are going with this! Ummm, Similar in that “Light Blue” is more of a refreshing clean scent? Definitely. “Light Blue” has kind of a citrusey undertone (Perhaps it could be described as a grapefruit champagne?) sort of thing going on. “White Tea” gives you that clean refreshing vibe but it also carries a umm (wracking my brain here for the right words……) Well, it’s clean with a touch of “mystery”… you know, it’s pure and cool but sophisticated & intriguing. There we go : ) I think Bvlgari and Sephora should have me in their promotions department. ; ) And I would put their fragrance staying power at about the same. Hope that helps you out!
