I actually used it more frequently than recommended. At least three times a week. Not only do I color my hair, but I have fine, curly hair as well which makes for some parched tresses. If you don't have dry hair, just go with what the package says.

i tend to wash my hair first then put this in. the instructions tell you to towel dry your hair then put it in, but i just squeeze as much of the water out as possible and slop it in. then i finger comb it through gently, put it in a bun, and keep on doing my shower stuff. i rinse this out as one of the last things i do.

Shampoo, towel dry your hair and apply it through. You can comb it through, but I wrap it up in a towel and leave it on for about 5-10 mins. Rinse it out and style. It is amazing and will give your hair incredible shine.

i dont think so but I just went to look and it does not list ingredients on the container, just the box which i had already thrown away. I do have to say that i had a Keratin treatment a few months back and this is not taking that away, if anything it seems to complement it.
