If you feel you have residue after a microderm, your esthetician is not cleaning your face well. You should leave your treatment feeling hydrated, and I wouldn't be looking to use a toner again, except maybe with your nightly regimen. I much prefer Dermologica's line. I think they are more calming and hydrating.

The Murad Hydrating Toner has glycolic acid. We recommend consulting your Esthetician and showing them the ingredients to see if this would be okay to use after your treatment. Here's the list of ingredients:
