answer 1
I have sensitive skin and acne (not a good combo). I use this once a day with my Clarisonic brush with the sensitive skin brush head. This works great for me and I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin. That said, I only use this at night. I tried using it in the morning as well and it was just a little too much for me. Once a day works really well, though!!!

I have oily/sensitive skin and although the directions suggest to use this product 1-2 times weekly, I use it every night without a problem.

Everyone can exfoliate to some degree......but avoid mechanical exfoliation (such as harsh grains, dermabrasives), but use a glycolic exfoliation.
You may find that your skin is less sensitive after glycolic use and very receptive to humectants and antioxidants.
If you are female, I find its best to avoid benzoyl peroxide, change to a glycolic acid exfoliator. The Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating cleanser would be great, not harsh...the grains are few and are jojoba. The lactic acid is milky and creamy. Make sure that you use an SPF moisturizer during the day and huge antioxidants/humectants/moisture at night. Avoid retinol if you are sensitive, as it thins the skin. Dr Henriksens African tea cleanser is fabulous...but if you need something less drying, use the Kinerase Gentle Cleanser. I think you will be much happier with the results of this regimen. For your moisturizer: during the day, perhaps your oil-free/spf choice, but at night, load your face with a product without spf....I really like Dr Perricone's Face Finishing moisturizer (lots of antioxidants, rose, botanicals, vit-c,) possibly a little retinol...but not enough to strip skin, just thoroughly moisturize and brighten.
