Questions & Answers for Fresh Rose Floral Toner

Question
Should there have been a spray top on this when I bought it?
I bought the Rose Marigold Tonic Water last night at the Sephora store and was surprised when I opened it today the top was a screw-on top, like a water bottle. I was seriously annoyed because I planned on spraying this on my face, like I did with the tester at Sephora. What should I do?

They are supposed to come with the spray top attachment... If it wasn't in the box then unfortunately for you someone must have taken it. i woudl go back to Sephora and ask them to exchange it for one that has the spray attachment in the box :)

Yes, there should have been an atomizer in the box as well. It does come with a screw cap that you would replace with the atomizer.

answer 3
There should have been an atomizer (sprayer) in your bottle that you screw into it. The cap is just to keep it closed in the packaging or if you are traveling.

I panicked for the same reason when I first opened the box but then I found the pump at the bottom. How annoying to get it all the way home and be so excited to use it, then you can't. Yes, it should be included. Did you purchase in the store? I wonder if someone swiped it from the box?

There should have been a separate sprayer in the box. I've purchased this item twice and both times there was a separate sprayer in the box.

Yes its suppose to come with the sprayer. I also bought mine at the store and it indeed came with one. Just make sure it didn't fall out or is still in the box, it doesn't take much space(very slim) and could easily be lost. But if it didn't come with one, I suggest go back to the store and ask for one.

Definitely still moisturize afterwards! Even if you have oily skin and FEEL like it's enough hydration. This is just a nice prep step.

Depends how dry your skin is... Depends on the weather. If you live in a colder climate during the winter months I would recommend using this with a moisterizer. If it's summer and your skin isn't as dry it is probably not necessary. It really depends on your skin.

It depends on your skin and the weather. My skin is combination, on the dry side, and I usually use this toner after cleansing, before moisturizer. But if it's really humid, could skip moisturizer after toner.

I usually use it before moisturizer, I think using it along doesn't help protect your skin, especially when winter is coming.

Personally, I just put tinted moisturizer over it because it already hydrates my skin. In the past, with other toners, I've applied moisturizer (Clinique dramatically different gel) afterwards because my skin would feel dry, but with this I don't seem to need it

Hi lauraj123. To use as a skin soothing toner, spray onto cleansed skin before moisturizer. You can also spritz over moisturizer and makeup throughout the day for a refreshing pick me up. The rosewater smells amazing!

I have been using this product for over a month multiple times a day. I haven't even used a quarter of it. If I had to guess, the tonic water will last at least 6 months, maybe longer. It is definitely worth the money for the amount of product that you receive.

The product has ingredients that hydrate the skin slightly prior to skincare. Not sure if there are oils specifically but the rose extracts surely helps in hydration. Best thing is to go to the store and check the box for the ingredients list. What I know is that the product is gentle on the skin and provides the slight hydration I need to prep my face for skincare.

You would be able to saturate a cotton ball and use it that way, but there are better toners for that purpose. This is a lightly fragranced, refreshing mist--better to use it as such.

its both, you can apply it with a cotton pad as a toner (it's supposed to hydrate the skin, just in case read up on benefits of rose water)
and you can also spay it and use it as a mist through out the day (it doesnt contain spirt or other irritating components so it's pretty much can't be "overdosed")

Yes, I use it both ways. In the morning I spray the Fresh Rose Toner directly on my skin & rub in with my hands. While at night after cleansing I spray on to a flat cotton rounds/square and use those to swipe my face, neck & upper chest.

Question
Better than 100% pure Rosewater?
I use 100% pure Rosewater ($5) as a hydrating spray, and I was curious as to wether or not this product is better than that? It seems to me that this product just added a handful of chemicals, but I find that rose water isn't as toning as I'd like.

I use this product plus keep a small spray bottle of 100% rosewater in my purse to use during the day. I definitely like Fresh's version better all around including toning aspect. I just use the other because the Fresh product doesn't have a cap and is in a pretty big bottle. Definitely worth the price in my opinion. Bottle has lasted me a whole year using it almost everyday.

This product is pure rose water plus some chemical elements.

I think you should try higher quality rose water first. This product is overpriced in my opinion but real rose water is usually like $10-15 for a smaller bottle. Some companies make cheap versions that are not the real thing, you want one that is a real byproduct of making rose oil.

If that doesn't work, try a different toner. Rose water is a mild toner, your skin might need something stronger. Sephora sells these First aid beauty radiating toner wipes which are worth a try. A good price and not too strong but stronger than rose water.

This is NOT a cruelty free line. It is owned by Louis Vuitton-Moet Hennessy. Any company that profits a company that tests on animals is not a cruelty free company. Not to mention fresh also has stores in China.

Fresh is a cruelty free line, but they did not pay all the money to get Peta's bunny. Most of the lines at Sephora are cruelty free, they may just be owned by L'oreal or some other company that chooses to test on animals.
